The Zaph TMM’s sounds stellar. Excellent imaging and soundstage. Very focused. Which will pay off nice if I ever make it to a 5.1 with them.
I am experimenting with a lower capacitor value on the tweeter and a couple different port lengths. They are a little brassy out of the gate.
Thanks again to the couple people that contributed parts to them!
R.I.P Jeff Bagby. Thank you for your contribution as well.

The bottom coil in my oven just stopped working.
I just broiled 2 loaves of bread. Hopefully it made something like bread.
Check the connection.
Otherwise https://www.repairclinic.com/ is a good place to I.d. the part and procure the part number. As they have photos of each individual part. A lot of the time they have the best price as well.

House smells like bourbon right now and my loves today wont make it overnight. More midnight baking.
Hope you will try a loaf some day and compare to the magic you are used to!
Send a loaf over! I’ll make sum’ dank gorilla cheese sammich’s.

On a lighter note, speakers have made it in the house! Had to give the wife a couple days to acclimate to them, so haven't hooked them up yet. Being as she didn't even know I was building them until over half way through. I pretty much knew the only caveat would be that she could place plants on them. lol

mathematically there are too many unknown variables. My instinct tells me expect the worst and go from there. Humans are dumb in that we try to calculate things based solely on where we have already been. There are no absolutes other than death, and nothing in this life is a guarantee.

We just got put on the same level as California, Washington and New York. They issued a state wide stay at home order until April 13th, for anything non essential. In other words it’s a fuck show.

Speaking of asparagus, I got my patch mulched and strawed. Hopefully will get my berry bushes and grapes done today. Emptied the chicken coop into the garden beds a few weeks ago so that should be coming along nicely as well.
we had four days of snow this last week and has rained every other day.

I live on faith and instinct. If God wants my ass he will take me. Other than that I just trust my instincts. Not going to overthink it much beyond that.
20 minutes over 360° should be no problem with carrots. I just baked a pan of asparagus and carrots Tossed in oil at 450° and was good to go. Only that high because I was broiling steaks in a cast iron and didn’t want to run both ovens.

I personally would try the bleach solution and see what you think. Who knows may not leave any noticeable effect other than piece of mind.
those temperature and times are based on dry heat sterilization for medical equipment. Things that can’t go in an autoclave.

The TMM's are finally complete!! Short of testing anyways. Getting ready to haul them in the house! woot woot!
Decided to fill the waveguides with epoxy. I'd already purchased it, just was undecided. After seeing just about anyone that used that particular one do it and a knuckle test I had to commit.

As far as leafy food goes the only greens I’ve had this week are in frozen smoothie packs. All other vegetables are getting cooked.
for sterilization to occur. Temperature must reach 360° for 20 minutes or 340° for 40 minutes.

MadaCide Is what is used in the medical field (and tattoo) to disinfect surfaces. Will kill hepatitis in under five minutes and most other things in closer to 30 seconds.
I happen to have a spray bottle and a tub of wipes right here. And a few gallons stashed at the shop. Good luck getting any in the current market though.

@///M5 Now that I think about it peroxide is probably the best choice. Forgot all about that one.
all I know is I personally would not use soap. I won’t even touch most soaps. Not only are the residuals hard to get off but there are some pretty harsh chemicals. Really just needs to be something that drops the pH really Low.

I am state mandated jobless until the end of April. I have a home studio set up but don’t know if I want to be around people at the moment.
starting to forget what day of the week it is. And have quarantined myself to the garage!2 -

I worked at a restaurant, we bleached glasses. Pretty sure it is common, but doing it at home just seems fucked.
Even formaldehyde and sulfur are organic. And they are used on almost everything we touch other than food, as an anti-microbial.
the other option would be soak them in vinegar/apple cider vinegar mixed with water. I personally just rinse them with water, but I like to keep my immune system strong. I’ve also never used hand sanitizer in my life, just the smell of it makes me want to puke. Lol

Is how vegetables are washed on a commercial scale. Can even be with organic chlorine and will still say organic.
Rinsed afterwards of course. 2 teaspoons is the most I would do, you could do 1 or 1-1/2.

I forgot to post pics of the acoustic treatment. More of yesterdays fun! I know you guys are picture whores.
I put 2" foam on the back wall behind the upper driver that's pulling the midrange duty. The thick egg crate top and bottom for the standing waves. Then 1" everywhere else.
The inside wrapped in 4 layers of some super thin polyfil. Will most likely add some more just loosely placed.

2 teaspoons bleach to a gallon of water. A spray bottle works good for application.

Speaking of crossovers and such, here's where I'm at with the TMM's.
Parts is parts, pieces parts.
Dry layout...
Assembled!
And a close up.
Baffle laid out...
Test fit, yep it fits!
Some feets in the works...
Kinda modelling them after the Solstice towers. With black feet and baffle. Besides the cold, the only hold up has been bringing myself to commit to the front 3" port.
Hope you guys enjoy.

Lucky you get to work. They are really sticking it to small businesses.
