Hey everyone just registered here this evening. I'm also over on DIYMA (am I allowed to say that here? ) but have heard good things about this site too. I feel I'm quite knowledgeable in the car audio and 12v field. I'm just here to share what I know and to expand my knowledge. Oh and hopefully meet some new faces along the way. I've got a '99 S10 Zr2 with the following: Alpine CDA-9887 JL 300/2 powering midbass Peerless SLS (soon to be replaced) Custom built kick panels made by yours truley Alpine 2.150 powering midrange 4" Alpine Type X comps in the dash 1 12" Alpine Type X in a 1.6 ft^3 ported box tuned to 33ish hz US Amps Merlin MD3D giving the Type X 1200w @ 2ohms AD244 alternator out of an '03 Suburban with the 5.3L Big 3 Upgrade Optima Yellow Top Here is a link to my build thread over on s10forum with everything being built/installed if anyone is interested.
