Is the clearcoating something that I can do? Would it hurt anything?

I'm see that my 18" is getting a little discolored. I was wondering if there is something that I can do to clean them, and help keep them from turning.

I've noticed in the threads that none of the post come up. They are at the bottom of the first post to sort through. Id this something new or did I do something, lol. I'm not a big fan of this set up. Especially when there's a lot of pix like in Meads caddy thread. Is there a way to reset things?

You have to account for the port displacement in the box. So if your starting off with a 3 cube box, and you add the ports, you'll be at around 2.5ish cubes. That's not saying that it's bad. I had my 15"s in 2.5 tuned to 34hz each, and they loved it.

There's 6.5's in the doors, and in the rear panels by the arm rest. The tweeters are in the upper corner of the door by the mirrors. This is the best pic I have to show you. If you look close between the seats, you can see the 6.5 in the back, and the other in the door. I'll get more pix for you later.can we see pix of the setup and the r32im designing a sytem for my bosses r32
and ideas he races and want to keep things light but decentlyloud
oh can i put 6.5inch speakers in the doors and rearpillar without havin to modify things
im trying to make this build as simple as possible

As for the setup, it very basic. The fact that it's a hatchback makes all the difference.

Well I talked her into letting me put a pioneer in it. After a little tuning, we got a new score
We're in the 40's. Now I have to build the newbox, and I have a pair of 4" aero ports just for it.

I wouldn't do anythin smaller sealed than 1.75. 2 would be better though. Thanks the smallest I could find is 2.5 was kinda hoping I could go a little smaller .sealed would work if ported is to big.0 -

I don't have a SS 8", but I do have a TC 1000 8" for sale. It's about as close as you can get to an SS.

Thx, yours looks really clean as well. Right now I'm running the 200amp alt, 1 redtop, & 2 runs of Kicker 0awg. I get no dimming at all. I was running an Orion 2500D with an RE MX 12", and I had no issues with it then either. I do plan on running a 2nd redtop to help with the compressors when they kick on.I have an EA 200amp for my 92 4dr blazer.Nice Blazer What batteries are you running and how many? Are you satisfied with your settup? 12volt? What amps are you running and how much did the alt cost?
I'm looking to find an electrical guru. Can anyone help? Do I have to run a 12 volt system or can I up that on a vehicle thats only driven a couple times a month. Does anyone have a 16 volt electrical system on a dlydrvr?

+1, I hope your B-day treats you as good as you treat us.indeed, happy birthday to the man that brings us great woofers0 -
For the sound your trying to acheve, you'll be very happy with 5-6 cubes each.See not so much lookin for wicked low end, plus with 1500w per driver I don't want it reaching its mechanical limits to easily.I wonder why people recommend up to 10 cubes when mike advises 5 at 27hz on the site. I'm guessin I don't dig on the lows as much as others.

Although I want to go with a bigger box (and will eventually), I am very happy with the small box I have mine in right now. It's currently tuned to 34hz, and that seems to be doing good for me. It is a little "peaky", but it also gets very loud while maintaining great SQ.

I've already talked to him, and I plan on getting it back to do something with it later.I'm not 100% sure whats going on at this point. Fedex came by and picked it up, and shipped it back the the original owner (who I bought it from). They told him that they were going to do an investigation, and if everything goes well they will be cutting the check. So I guess it's just a waiting game from here. They sent him a form to fill out, and then we'll see where things go from there.i would have taken it off your hands!
