Whats the air space for that box? How many "clicks" did you loose?

I decided to build a new box for the 18".
Started with this........
Then this......
Then this........
I actually have the front, back, and top on. I just haven't taken any pix of it yet. It's bigger then the last box I had in there for the 15". I got about 7.2 cubes with this one. I'll get more pix up later. It's going to have 2 6" aero ports tuned to 34hz, and a Orion 2500d.

lol, she should be in this weekend. I just got my 6" areos in yesterday. Thats all I was waiting for.She may be pretty but she ain't no trophy wife - put her to work already! B)0 -
I was one of them.There are a few people with 3 10's that love them.0 -
'02 blazer xtreme, 2 15" rl-p's, 1 power acoustik 3000d, 6cubes ported to 34hz, CRX style box (subs up, ports back), 200amp HO alt, 2 redtop batts. = 153.9DB's.

I currentlly have 2 rl-i 8"s in my wifes car pushed by a directed 1500D @1 ohm. Their in a sealed box (1.2 cubes). She loves it, but I want to port it.

Make sure you start a thread on this. I'd like to follow along.Good luck with the Blazer. I'm starting a wall behind the rear seats in my Blazer today. 2 FI BTL 18's with a Concept CD-2410 on each. I can get about 14.3 cubes before displacement and 12 after. One BTL is on the way. I've got to get rid of this Solo before I can get the other 18.0 -
SOunds good, now get to work. Oh, and dont forget pix.

I know it's not the same truck, but in my s10 blazer I tryed it everyway possible (sub/port combo), lol. Sub up port back gave me the best #'s and sound with minimal rattling.thats what im talking about. Sub up port back...the port will be ok like that? And yeah im looking to score higher...but will it hurt me in other ways0 -
LOL, ok cause all I see are "X"

I would have to agree. It's always cheaper to build a new box, but I have never been happy with the outcome of those perfects either. You have them already. You might as well get the max out of them that you can.I'd build a box first too, but I also cannot say that I have heard an installation of those Perfects that I actually liked.0 -
+1, lol.Says I don't have permission to view this.............J

LOL, i'm sure you ment "shirts". Either way, I'll be up for a new shirt too.Mark found a good place to do new chits. We will be ordering a bunch very soon, just have to make sure we have enough to pay for them.0 -
Whats up Kenny. What are the big plans for the blazer as far as audio?

I currently have my Orion 2500d mounted on the top flat. I pan on putting the 18" on top facing up, and the amp on the side. Will it be ok as far as heating is concered?

Thx guys. Getting around those wheel wells was kind of a PITA. There both different, so it wasn't as easy as just cutting the same pieces out. This thing is huge. I have to put it in through the rear doors, and pull it up and over the wells to sit in place.
