  1. Thx guys. Getting around those wheel wells was kind of a PITA. There both different, so it wasn't as easy as just cutting the same pieces out. This thing is huge. I have to put it in through the rear doors, and pull it up and over the wells to sit in place.

  2. I decided to build a new box for the 18".

    Started with this........

I actually have the front, back, and top on. I just haven't taken any pix of it yet. It's bigger then the last box I had in there for the 15". I got about 7.2 cubes with this one. I'll get more pix up later. It's going to have 2 6" aero ports tuned to 34hz, and a Orion 2500d. :fing34:

  3. Good luck with the Blazer. I'm starting a wall behind the rear seats in my Blazer today. 2 FI BTL 18's with a Concept CD-2410 on each. I can get about 14.3 cubes before displacement and 12 after. One BTL is on the way. I've got to get rid of this Solo before I can get the other 18.
Make sure you start a thread on this. I'd like to follow along. :fing34:

  4. thats what im talking about. Sub up port back...the port will be ok like that? And yeah im looking to score higher...but will it hurt me in other ways
I know it's not the same truck, but in my s10 blazer I tryed it everyway possible (sub/port combo), lol. Sub up port back gave me the best #'s and sound with minimal rattling. :fing34:

  5. I'd build a box first too, but I also cannot say that I have heard an installation of those Perfects that I actually liked.
I would have to agree. It's always cheaper to build a new box, but I have never been happy with the outcome of those perfects either. You have them already. You might as well get the max out of them that you can. :fing34:
