The only problem with that is that it's going to be a center console setup in my crew cab chevy. So it has to be a clean install with no external ports. You could always use external Aero ports to achieve a ported box with little space consumed for the port.0 -
Yes it is. I've had it hooked up for 1.5 months on 2 DD 2510. It's got a couple scratches from being under the seat, but it works great.New heatsink 3k? What do you want for it?PM me an offer. I'm looking to get 2 1500's.

I've always been big into ported enclosures, but space is tight. I wonder if I would be happy with these 4 sealed.

OK, so I think i'm going with 2 1500. Now to sell/trade this one off, lol. Gonna be hard with this economy, lol.

I'm going to be running 4 Signature 12"s ported and the most I can muster up for each is 1.25 cubes ported to 33Hz with 500w to each. Is this going to be sufficient air space for them to function properly?

I'll be making my new box shortly with 4 Sound Splinter Signature RL-p 12". All 4 are D4 ohm giving me a final load of 2ohms for the amp. I was wondering if I should maybe trade the sundown 3000 for 2 1500. This way I could run 2 subs at 1ohm to each 1500. I "think" my other option is to run the 3000 at .5 ohm, but I don't know if that's a smart thing to do. My electrical consist of a 200 amp alt, 2 yellow tops, 2 runs of + 0awg, and 2 runs of - 0awg. What are your thoughts? I'm kinda at a lost right now, lol.

With that amp I personally would do the RL-i's.

A video of the setup would be much better than a vid of a dome light rattling. Get some pix or other vids up to see what's making the noise.

You'll be just fine with that, and I got 15.5" as well.

Are you running mixed subs? MTX & DD?

Thank you!!!!!! I cring when people make post like this. There's just now "right" way to answer that. This isn't gonna cause a debate because questions like this are disregarded. Why?
Because they are asked all the time.

Areo's have always been my fav to work with. Easier to retune later down the line. With a ported box you'll probably mess with the tuning to get it right, and with areo's it's easy. Its also easier than building a bunch of boxes. That's just my personal opinion.

Damn that's alot of angle cutting, lol. Looks good. I'd like to see the numbers this puts up.

Exactly. You can't just start naming off brands & power. You gotta know how much space, money, etc you have to work with.Well how much space do you have?Price range?

just came across a mint old school "signiture" 12". I didn't need it, but I've always wanted and the price was good. Now I have no plans to use it anytime soon. So I wanted to see if I can find an SS box for the RL-p 12" from someone. I need/want all the packing in it as well please. Let me know or if mike you read this and you can let me know what it would cost to ship me one.
Thx, Vic.

Momma always said "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything."
J/K bro, if you "HAVE" to have it as a temp, I guess it'll work. But DAMN............

No, if you buy 4 or more you get them for $70+ shipping. Otherwise it's $79 ea+ shipping.so the minimum we can buy is 4?0 -

I was wondering between the 2 subs was there any difference in specs? I have 2 sitting here, and of course the only visible difference is the cone. One with the logo, and the other with Mike's sig.
