Who does the World Famous West Coast Customs call when they have a big heat issue and need to quiet down a huge build? Yep, that's right, Team Second Skin!!! Team Second Skin had an amazing MLK weekend in sunny Burbank, CA working with the world famous West Coast Customs build team on a huge build for their upcoming new season on Velocity Channel. We are excited for the episode to air featuring our newest product line Mega'Block Hydrophobic Melamine Foam Heat Shield, along with the high quality staples like Damplifier Pro, Luxury Liner Pro, Damp Rope, and Speaker Tweakers. When we say this build is huge, it is no understatement, this build is pushing 218 total sqft of raw metal that needed to be DEADENED and West Coast Customs reached out to us to take on this huge task. It was an honor to work with the crew of West Coast Customs and get our hands on such an amazing build. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose too much info on it, nor release any of our pics of the build until it airs the first time in March/April 2017!!! With all this time to wait, we will come up with a cool promo to run with the launch of this episode, so keep your eyes on our forums, social medias, and website to stay current with the episode time and promo info. Duster Joe's 1976 Plymouth Duster Trunk Build Customer Joe M. Build Info: 1976 Plymouth Duster 2006 6.1L Hemi 1996 Borg Warner T56 (Viper) Trunk is 53 cu/ft space Complete car was done with three boxes of Damplifier Pro (90 sqft total). Trunk specially was completed using 8-10 sheets of Damplifier Pro. The trunk before any Damplifier Pro sound deadening. Installing the Damplifier Pro butyl sheets. Interior trunk walls only needed one full sheet of Damplifier Pro each to reduce sound to just a deep thump. After the Second Skin Damplifier Pro was installed. The Damplifier Pro dropped the sound of the fuel pump to nearly no sound at all. Here a picture showing the trunk sound deadening completed. It’s totally covering the floor, wheel wells and one full sheet of Damplifier Pro on each inner quarter panel. The rear trunk panel was completely done as well.
