    Kicker CVX Help

you will need a custom box built to specs for these subs bro. In a decent size box, the cvx will get louder than these all if their in a crappy box. Its all about design of box, and what your looking for out of the set-up. But I think everyone here would agree that one Sundown Nightshade can get louder than the two other drivers you listed. Just remember, this is a hobby, and their no reason to rush if your funds aren't good right now (personal experience).

    My System :(

Lol I was gonna say that. Everyone with a system thinks their not as loud from when they first installed, always wanting to upgrade!

    Anyone Ever seen this sub??

Looked interesting that's why I posted it lol Looks entertaining. No one will probably ever buy it, because for one you can get louder with more, and space required probably massive lol

18" AA Havoc in 2002 Grand Prix

But you wouldn't put a 100 watt amp on it would you?.. I'm just reading that, and he completely switched what I said. I said amp thatllpush, not power. Any amp can power a sub, but it takes some power to push one. Correct me if I'm wrong.

18" AA Havoc in 2002 Grand Prix

Wanting to put a 18" sub in car. I've run into a 18" mayham, but trunk not big enough for the required space to perform. Any inputs on what amp would push this sub, I read the rms is 1250. Trying to finally complete my system.
  16. I want to do a install of 4 15s in trunk of grand prix. I will be building inside trunk. I just need help, and suggestions on designs. Let me know guys. 37" wide and with 16" tall, and roughly 50" long(from trunk opening to rear seats.

Can Someone please help me with designing a box

If you guys do some research and see that the 2002 grand prix is a bigger and better car than a regular gp, you'd understand that the trunks are bigger, car is wider, and has much better parts mechanically and cosmetically than a regular. I'll post pics. Tired of people comparing a reg to the anniversary one

can a btl 18 take 2500 RMS daily??

What everyone else said. If you know a bunch about car audio, then you know you can run more than 2500 daily, just being smart, and using clean power. Remember, big power while dirty is bad. It's all about power quality

    Kicker Comps in door

Ok, so I did some thinking, and I think I'm going to go with you guy's opinion and just do a big mid an a tweeter. Decided to do 4 kicker comp 10s in each door, along with super tweets. Picking up my woofers tomorrow after I get off (8am) UPS Worker!! Found a nice deal on Best Buy. Good Buy On Subs

    Kicker Comps in door

Can everyone that's reading this tread, read my previous thread!! This is ridiculous, I firstly wanted to do a full range meaning lows, mids, and highs in door, and everyone was like that's gonna be difficult, and it's best to just do 1 ONE "ONE* big speaker with a tweet in door. I'm just going to go through with my first idea. I still have it all planned out and that seems to work. And I fully understand what you all are saying. If I did do the kicker comp it's just 30hz to 500hz, then skips to 3k and up. That's why I firstly said I was going to run run an mid-high driver along with the set-up. I'll send you updates on what I decide to do tomorrow. I may go an entirely different route. Just was wanting to try something a bit different.
