Welcome to SSA!!

This thread is from June last year and I think he stopped to do another build in another vehicle. A wall in a 300.

Are you planning for a demo machine or spl meter?

OP the only way you can really find out for your specific vehicle is to build multiple boxes and test each way.

Awesome to hear about the good customer service. Hope you guys get you're subs soon!

Really?? When did you finish off paying?
I thought they would have been here by now.

oh right, carry on hahaYou need to come here before making any purchases! Lol you keep buying bad quality or buying unnecessary things!
damp pro is pretty good. shouldn't have an issue selling what he doesn't use.
Bad quality part was for the shit ton he spent on skar. Unnecessary things is this because he bought too much.
Lol figured you would agree now!

I want to keep my sealed enclosure as it is a custom wall in the front of my trunk which doesnt intrude into the trunk space and preserves access to the spare tire. I never considered SSA because the dcon had too low of a power rating and the gcon was too expensive.
Fuck the power rating, give it around 300 rms and it'll blow you away.

Pretty much it! ^^^
I would go with a g31 battery. If a sears is around you a good inexpensive battery is the diehard platinum battery.

Aaron beat me too it!! I was gonna say dcon lol but it is a little out of your budget although I think it would be extremely worth it.

All you need is a basket?

I agree with Julian 100%. These are VERY basic questions that you should know by now. Not to sure how you have built your system without knowing how to see how much space you have with 3 dimensions. You definitely should know how to do this.
I would suggest downloading the Torres box calc and also using Stephan's port area calc. It'll allow you to be able to somewhat design a box and and figure out your answers pretty quick. That way you don't have to ask questions and wait for a reply.
Lol that was a bad come back you obviously don't know Julian's past setups. Also not trying to start anything between me and you but just trying to let you see our side and too help.

Hey Sean how much power can these help with? Like would this be sufficient for a 1200 rms amp?

It'll get closed unless you upload the pics soon. Also make sure to have you're name and date.

Lol it's not walmarts brand or anything...just whatever brand I get there works good to me.

Looks really good! Truck looks awesome!

No not bed liner...I like the high quality paint that Walmart sells. I think black and white for the enclosure.

You better be getting it down soon!! I'm close to finishing

I feel like I'm getting close!!!! All the wires are ran for everything now. Tomorrow I will be painting the box and then once box is put in I can make some amp racks and then pretty much install things then!

If I were you I would have went with a different brand with everything you're using. Skar has a bad rep and doesn't answer any technical questions when it comes to his designs and Kevin had some odd t/s parameters (specs) according to many people on here. I also think his stuff is too expensive.
But I really haven't heard anything that bad about the amps though. Like jay-crew said if it's something that fits you're goals then buy it.

Am i right?

don't worry about the power you're giving them. Yea they can take more power but would it be worth it for daily? Hell no. You would have to upgrade electrical more along with a bigger amp. You're just wasting money. You're fine with what you have now. Try a ported box if it's something that's possible. But do you mean built for sealed meaning box or they have high qts option?
Not too sure about the truck question. We would need max dimensions or someone that has done it like Steve for you to for sure know with whatever truck you get.
