Ripped out some of the plastic under the box. Still more down there though. It was getting in the way so I'm just gonna put some more down tomorrow before I glue. Mounting hardware. Each sub will have four 1/4" x 5" through bolts, and four 1/4" x 2" lag screws. Lag compared to a Deckmate screw.

Getting the beauty baffle worked up. Damn jig saw crapped out on me a lil more than half way through one hole. Cleared out the rest of the glue from the mounting holes.

Does anyone thing it would be a bad to mount the subs with either 2.5" or 3.5" deck screws until I can get nuts and bolts to bolt them in?

Ya, the only thing is that I can't use through bolts for all of the holes. So I will have all of the holes through bolted that will be possible (like 4 or 5 for each sub), then I'm gonna use 2.5" or 3.5" deck screws for the holes I can't through bolt. Should be pretty stout. I can't move it at all. It will be 7 layers if you count the .5" beauty panel.

I like it, it can't be sharpened anymore though. Yes it is.

The stack of mdf disks is getting pretty high.

Got the mounting baffle in. Just gotta do an amp rack and beauty panels, and mount and wire everything. My work pencil.

Thanks Ya, it's been at and above 100* every now and again here. I actually love the heat as much as I hate it. It's getting me more fit for riding since I have to race in it. And it's 40 cubes at 28hz.

I'm thinking about making the 45* a different color than the port and inside of the box, something that will contrast a lot. Don't you love osprey shit lol.

Dry fit with both layers of the port in. Gluing, got a lil carried away lol. Didn't take pics for a while, but this is where I started taking them again. Building the top and bottom up. I was having a lil trouble getting this back in after test fitting. After two light taps with a hammer, this is what I get. It's all glued back together now though lol. The notch in the port wall just in case I want to tune a lil lower.

I know, you can almost set your clock to the rain right now. Although it didn't rain hard yesterday, kinda weird. Every day this past week it has started pouring around 4, and a couple days ago it just decided to go all day lol. Thats what happens in the South, when that warm air and cool air mix it always causes afternoon storms. No matter where you are it is the same way, Florida and Texas weather are too similar. Ya...I love the rain in the evenings, and just ingeneral as long as it's not stopping me from doing something lol. Of course. If I did my designing right, the subs should be barely noticeable lol.

Got the inner part of the baffles done today. Plenty of room between the seats and mounting surface. Port dry fit. Gonna get the port layered up and glues and screwed in tomorrow weather permitting. Gonna leave the inner layer two inches shorter just in case I wanna tune a lil lower later on.

Got a lil more done today with the fiberglass. I couldn't do much more because it rained all day, like it has been every day pretty much lol. This side is almost there, really rigid right now. I'm still thinking about filling the area behind it with spray foam. This side still needs some more layers. That's all for today, used up about 25'^2 of mat and about a half gallon of resin...More glassing tomorrow, and hopefully a lil cutting if the weather permits lol.

Good Jesus how the hell did that happen? How was the packaging? If it was Fi's packing and this happened then USPS must have done something really weird.

Thanks The port width will be 14". And ya, I'm gonna add a 2x4 on each baffle between the subs. It should end up being pretty beefy.
