    SSA Gcon 12"

I'll start this off with a list of equipment used: 4 12" SSA Gcon Sundown Audio SAZ-1500 Alpine 9887 6.9 ft^3 Net 35 hz tuning with 12.3in per cube with 3 6" flared PSP aero ports On with the review. I bought 4 12" Gcons the hour they were released, and have been using them everyday since having them show up at my door. Competitive burping, ground-pounding, demoing both spl and clarity, and I'm more than happy with my purchase. If you can see through the vlurred bision these subs cause you can literally watch your car shake apart! Gcon left, Fiday X right Turn the bass knob down to blend with the front stage to really show what bass can add to any music. The Gcons bass reproduction is pin-point accurate. The tight double drums or the beat of a bass guitar will leave you with a smile on your face every time you really listen to your music they way it was meant to be heard. After about a month of use I broke down and upgrade to the Gcon's rated RMS power via a Sundown Audio SAZ-3000. It was an instant upgrade in overall performance, but the biggest gain I saw was the lows. I was finally able to really get these subs moving and "wake the lows up". Even at low volume I'm surprised how authoritive these subs sound. I can hear every note these are meant to play very clearly, and distanctly from each other. I've yet to hear any sort of distortion from these subs, no matter if I'm demoing or burping. Every time someone new gets in my car, the first comment is how low these subs get and how great they sound. They truly do pack a punch, don't let their price tag leave any doubts on quality, performance, or spl. These will do anything you ask of them. And do it well. If I can't express how these sound or how top notch the quality of these subs are in words, just know that I'm truly happy with the Gcon line. I don't care if there are cheaper products out there, I don't believe SSA products can be touched for what they are. American made, clean, and loud. What more can you ask for? @ ~ 26 hz.
