Hello everyone! My names Mitch and I'm a non-recovering audioholic... Lol. Im getting back into car audio after not having the time for it the past 8 years! Im sure I'll have many questions for my build and I am very glad I can depend on SSA for dependable info and products!!! Thanks in advance for help. My build is in a 2003 Buick century, I'm sticking with one 12(already bought the GCON). All that's left is the amp. Ps my GCON is d2... Any help on narrowing it down would be great!

Hello all, I a member on some other car audio forums and see a lot of other people referencing or linking posts here, so I thought I would swing by and check it out. I had a '99 eclipse gsx that I just recently sold with 2 12'' alpine type-x and 2 x alpine 1kw amps. System sounded good for a car but now I'm looking to go big in my '02 GMC Envoy. I've always been with mainstream brands and prefab'd boxes so definitely getting excited to see what else there is out there. Those xcon's or zcon's are looking bad ass.

Hey, just popping in here. Been in the hobby for 3 decades now, usually I'm on CAF and occasionally I pop into DIYMA. I'm looking for input on the new SSA tweeters and I bet this would be a good place to start.

Hey guys! I'm the one that made the "How to" on tinsel lead repair which you guys sticked here: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=19673 So, I figured I'd finally come in here and introduce myself. Im 28 years old, Live in Houston Texas, and have always loved anything related to car audio. Heres some of what I had done to a 1986 Pontiac Firebird I used to own. Everything custom built and installed by me. "The Bird" Amp Rack. Various amps, Distribution blocks, Also a capacitor due to headlight dimage and less wear on the alternator. (I have black lights in side the amp rack box that shine down on to the speakers at night.) 2, Digital Audio. 1000 …

What's up, SSA? UPS guy just delivered my e8's today and I thought I would log on to see what the rest of the Sundown world was up to. Looking for build ideas and advice. Still undecided on box design so I'll be searching the forums and hopefully soon I can post a build log. Late.

sup people another noob here from hawaii. I was looking for some temporary bass while my stereo integrity mg d2 is being reconed so I decided to try out SSA's 12" dcon. My old setup was a sundown 1500 and sundown 100.2 amps... cdt components...stereo integrity mag d2 sub. but sold my car....and got into the horsepower addiction with a trailblazer ss. now that I reached my goal of 600hp...i'm tired of just hearing my exhaust so slowing building a mild stereo setup. so i ordered me a 12" dcon and some hybrid audio components with a sundown 100.4 amp for now. heres my old ride...will post pics of new ride when i get everything installed

I mainly signed up to see if one of the many Blacksburg kids here was interested in my setup, but I may stick around if I like this place. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I'm socially retarded thanks to an abnormally high IQ that turns me into a useless potato of a genius. Medical professionals call me Autistic, I'm not convinced yet. If I ever say some overly dumb [excrement] just know I'm not trying to be stupid, I literally just don't understand what's going on. With that out of the way, I live near Seattle. I've been involved in car audio in some manner since I was a kid, lately I've been trying to learn anything and everything I possibly can about automotive specific sub-bass acoustics. In the last year I've gone through more drivers than I can remember, designed and built more enclosures than I can count, and have been investin…

I am a tattooist and body piercier that really loves his music clean clean and loud. I am a responsible boomer as my sound is for me and me alone. I am 45 and got into doing my own systems two years ago. I have done one system only and now redoing. http://www.cardomain.com/id/ptteal I do read the forums everyday but dont post much as I am not a post whore and I have far less info as you guys. I do post as to things I need to know but really it is not on the common things that are posted. Right now I am building my pt so as it can hold 10 amps, 4 subs, 4 midbass, 4 midrange and 8 tweeters. I have lost my left eye this year do to cancer so I am going to put a tv for back…

Some of you might already know me from Youtube, for those who don't I "Bass-out" cutting-edge bass music for a bunch of the basshead peeps. I don't have a vehicle or nothing, but I do have a custom system in my room that puts some car systems down hard lol. My system consist of 4 12" mids, 6 5" mids, 4 2" silk dome tweets. Powered by a Denon-AVR3803 for the mids and I have a small 200 watt amp for the tweets. The bass power comes off the Denon too. I used a phase converter on the right and left channel and brought it down to 4 ohms & use a low pass filter from a salvaged home theatre sub. For my bass I converted my closet into a giant 6th order, with 3 12" drivers (MT…
