I am now new to these forums and I hope to learn more about car audio by being a member here. It also seems that there is a great deal of people here with much knowledge about the topic unlike other forums. I was referred to SoundSplinter by a friend who swore they were the best LSQ drivers. I will soon find out when I install them in my boy's car. I got into the car audio scene a year ago and have loved it ever since. As soon as I get my new amp I am planning on going to SPL drag's in the Beginner SPL Class and work my way up. Anyways, I am done with my introduction. -Airmack

Hello everyone. I have a 91 CRX that I am installing a new system into and was hoping to get a little guidance especially in choosing a sub/box and amp. I have everything else picked out. I am in teh process of installing an Eclipse 8454, a set of Rainbow soundline 6.5 comps, rainbow soundline coaxes for fill to be run off the HU. The front comps will have about 100 w/ch from a ED NINe.2 (had a monitor 70w /ch that lasted a few hours). I've installed two layers of edead deadening on the doors. I'm working on getting this al in and it is going slowly because I want to install it right. Now for the rest of it. I need some a sub(s), amp and enclosure. I have pretty much de…

I must say, i have been to a few forums in that past week and this is by far my fav. Some how i ended up at Caraudio.com forum, well lets just say that forum is nothing but a bunch of flameing KIDS. Anyway i have been out of car audio for about 10 years and im trying to figure out what equipment is still hitting hard and whats new lol. Just thought I'd introduce myself. My system in my 00 sunfire is currently just cheap Duals from best buy, but have plans to upgrade it, which is why I joined this forum. I have a lot to learn and hope I learn a lot here. What makes me want to upgrade most is sitting in my friends grand am with just one 10" Alpine Type X. The Duals have been my first system and when upgrading I'm pretty much looking at going all out with, with a ton of bass, but still retaining good sound quality. At this point I don't really know what to look for, I don't really have a set budget. If I think somethings worth the extra cash, I'll buy it. The 15" Rockford Fosgate T2's are pretty expensive,…

I have recently become aware of Fi subwoofers through various forum sites. I would like to know where to audition them. I am traveling to Las Vegas next month and wanted to know if there was an opportunity to listen to them at the Ficaraudio HQ, or are these displayed at local dealers?
