Herro, My name is James and am currently living in Japan. I'm new on here and am looking forward to purchasing a Dcon 12 in the very near future. It will be going into a Suzuki Alto Works (ported, just need to get final measurements to fit the box behind the so called rear seat). I currently have a Kenwood I-K77 HU and will be using an old school Nakamichi PA301 I have lying around (I actually have 2 lying around). It's rated for 240 watts at 2 ohms. Do you guys think the 12 will be under powered? I was thinking going with dual 10's but already have a 1 cube sealed box for a 12 that isn't being used. Hello. Found this place while doing research on my first sound quality type build. Lots of great info and ideas here. Always loved car audio, just finally got to the point in my mid 30's to want something that actually sounds nice rather than just goes loud and rattles your head lol. had systems in the past but didnt ever really go in depth with them just got what ever the guy at the audio shop told me would be best but now starting to try and get into it and learn installs and box building/ tuning myself and stuff and eventually want to compete once i get my system how i want it and at a point i think i have a chance lol

I just put a new system in my car. Got the head unit, door components and dampening and the 4 channel amp as well as a 180 amp alternator. Waiting on dc creations to ship my box which should be sometime next week before i add the sub and extra battery. Heres what i got so far for the overhaul. Parrot Asteroid Aq 120.4 Murder mat Hybrid audio unity 6.5" door components VMAX 120ah agm battery, big 3 Crescendo bc 2000 @.5ohm Aq 15" hdc4 I think i might try out local competitions in missouri but ive never been to one before New to car audio when i got a type x twelve on an alpine amp six months ago and ive been craving more ever since.

Hey guys I am new to this site and I need help picking out a new sub. I currently have a alpine type r 15 and looking to get a new sub. I had a kicker zx500.1 on it but I just recently bought a Rockford T1000-1bdcp. I was looking at the Fi SSD 15 or the SSA Icon 15? Which Sub would sound better?hit harder? The sub would go in a 3.75ft box Net, tuned to 35hz.

Hello everybody, I'm Jarrett from Lafayette La, just thought I would introduce myself. My first car was a 1999 mitsubishi mirage. I put 2 Orion HCCA 10.4s in a custom ported box with an Orion D5000. The D5000 stopped working so I bought 2 cheap Sound Storm amps to replace it. When I started college I sold this setup for $900 Now I drive a 1988 Toyota pickup. I Had an Fi Q 18 in a sealed 5 cu ft box with a US amps MD1D. I traded this setup for these wheels and a spare tire. I enjoy wheeling this truck through the mud as much as I enjoy my bass. Hi I am new to the audio world and i am needing a little help.I have a 03 neon and I have a orion 25001 mono amp and i am wondering what i have to do to run the amp safely. the amp would be ran at 1ohm and I have a 4ch amp running mids and highs.

Picked up a Re XTX 5000.1 to run a 15" Z V.3. Right now i'm running a rockford t400-4 to 2 sets of t1675-s. I just put a new 170amp H.O alt and my lights are already dimming. With the new sub arriving friday i will be putting the Re in and don't think this batt will hold up. Any suggestions on a good batt that will keep this thing running smooth?
