Herro, My name is James and am currently living in Japan. I'm new on here and am looking forward to purchasing a Dcon 12 in the very near future. It will be going into a Suzuki Alto Works (ported, just need to get final measurements to fit the box behind the so called rear seat). I currently have a Kenwood I-K77 HU and will be using an old school Nakamichi PA301 I have lying around (I actually have 2 lying around). It's rated for 240 watts at 2 ohms. Do you guys think the 12 will be under powered? I was thinking going with dual 10's but already have a 1 cube sealed box for a 12 that isn't being used. hi everyone im sort of new to this so still learning have a couple projects going on but my main one is having 3 skar vvx 8s in a 2000 integra. still havent got around to getting it installed as im still buying the components and still need to build a box. the 2nd project I got is small and simple just putting a single 12" dcon on my dads piece of shyt saturn lol this is the one im working on now and going to put it on my car meanwhile i get the other stuff going long story on why im doing this in this order but yea dont want to explain why. lol i guess thats it for now and talk to you guys around the forum.

I just put a new system in my car. Got the head unit, door components and dampening and the 4 channel amp as well as a 180 amp alternator. Waiting on dc creations to ship my box which should be sometime next week before i add the sub and extra battery. Heres what i got so far for the overhaul. Parrot Asteroid Aq 120.4 Murder mat Hybrid audio unity 6.5" door components VMAX 120ah agm battery, big 3 Crescendo bc 2000 @.5ohm Aq 15" hdc4 I think i might try out local competitions in missouri but ive never been to one before New to car audio when i got a type x twelve on an alpine amp six months ago and ive been craving more ever since.

Hey guys I am new to this site and I need help picking out a new sub. I currently have a alpine type r 15 and looking to get a new sub. I had a kicker zx500.1 on it but I just recently bought a Rockford T1000-1bdcp. I was looking at the Fi SSD 15 or the SSA Icon 15? Which Sub would sound better?hit harder? The sub would go in a 3.75ft box Net, tuned to 35hz.

The D5000 stopped working so I bought 2 cheap Sound Storm amps to replace it. When I started college I sold this setup for $900 Now I drive a 1988 Toyota pickup. I Had an Fi Q 18 in a sealed 5 cu ft box with a US amps MD1D. I traded this setup for these wheels and a spare tire. I enjoy wheeling this truck through the mud as much as I enjoy my bass. Picked up a Re XTX 5000.1 to run a 15" Z V.3. Right now i'm running a rockford t400-4 to 2 sets of t1675-s. I just put a new 170amp H.O alt and my lights are already dimming. With the new sub arriving friday i will be putting the Re in and don't think this batt will hold up. Any suggestions on a good batt that will keep this thing running smooth?

I was told that the audiopipe 1800 was to powerful for my alpe type r subs the are 1800 watts peak and 600 watts rms need help adjusting my amp so I don't blow then them any help helps thanks

Hiiii, im building a sub box for a ascendant mayhem, but RE calc is wayyy off.. So I was wondering if i could get some help with someone so i can get the understanding of doing this so i dont have to have help again. PLEASE. The Mayhem is single 12", and in ported can only be in 1.75cf - 3cf. And sub displacement i know nothing of which i do and this is confusing i have 2 sheets of plywood ready to be drawn on, all going to be 1.5" thick unless you think otherwise? Was thinking around 25-35 wide, 15-17" high, 18" deep but the hertz from torres, 12 volt, and RE are all different and confuse me! Could someone make up a thing for me that would work prime around 2-3 cubic ft …

I have little knowledge of the car audio world but have picked up a lot and still have a lot to learn. Currently i have 2 AQ 15's off a aq2200. i have all cadence mids and highs off a kicker 650.4 and a cadence 300.2. I am also now in process of a rebuild and will be switching out everything.I drive a 2007 ford escape. I have stock alt and yellow top with big 3 done.i have a singer h/o alt coming in and also have a xs power xp3000 coming.
