Hello, I'm trying to find expert advice for updating my system. I hope you can help me finding the bass grail.

Name is Ryan and I joined a few weeks ago. Pretty big into the car show scene here in Florida but a little lacking on the car audio side so I figured I would join and share.

What's up all? So I am planning on overhauling my 01 civic coupe's speakers and putting a sub in the trunk. This forum has tons of info and i got sick of lurking. So yeah, hello all.

Just getting back into the game. Have a 04 mountaineer. Soon to have 2 or 3 twelves in it. Have spent the last few weeks catching up on forums. Will post as i start to build.

Hey all. I am quite new to the world of car audio and its already completely addicting. I found my way to this forum/site thanks to the guys at caraudio. They recommended a 187 series Sub. I plan on ordering a 10 or 12 incher for my new system. I'm running a 5350A Reference amp from infinity. I have 300RMS at 2ohms. Can anyone suggest which would be better, a 10 or 12? Thank you very much. The reason im getting a 187 is i only have around 100 bucks to spend.

After about 10 years of being out of the hobby and listening to subpar factory systems, I've decided to jump back in. I sold almost all my equipment I've had from the mid 90's, but I've started purchasing some odds and ends (JBL 600.1, Arc fd2100, Kenwood 722) in attempt to start back out. This is for one of my 99 Eclipses, in hopes of having a nice sounding DD. I'm pretty heavy into Home Audio/Theater, so riding is my daily for my 30 min trip to work is a serious drag. I look forward to the help and criticism in the future in the goal of having a SQ setup.

Well, the name is George. Car is a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The car has been with me for more than 10 yrs now and not much has been done. My audio has always come from Wal-Mart via Pioneer, Sony, Visionik, even Roadmaster. My first best subs were some JL 12w0's in a prowedge box that took me all summer to save for and I had to drive to Atlanta, Ga to get them. OI thought I was doing something. Then a guy from Montgomery had two Cerwin Vega Stroker 15"s in a Ford Explorer. We're a little slower here in lower Alabama for car audio. Hello, I joined this forum to learn about this new company SoundSplinter, well at least new to me. Speaking of which how long has SS been around. To be honest I have been a JL Audio Fan, they make the best Amps hands down. But I don't think there subs are a good value at all. So I have been in search of a new subwoofer to replace my 12w6v2's. I am now a father, (my son just turned 1 last Friday!) So I don't have the need or space for big bass system. But I still want to crank it when I am ridin solo. I actually just reinstalled my system about a week ago, because babies and pregnant woman don't like bass. I am looking to get a single 8 or 10. The RL-I8 is very impressive…
