I have a 2003 chevy avalanche. new to forums but not to SSA. I have 2 12in icons currently. but I'm planning on changing my whole system around. originally I planed for more sq. but it's just not loud enough for me. sooooo I'm still in the planning stage. but I've almost got it figured out.

I would not consider myself a newb at all but apparently according to this site everyone with under 25 posts is a newb. WTF. I just wanted to come on her and see about getting into the classifieds but apparently you need 25 posts in order to. Also in need of either a **********. The rest of this thread is going to be a waste of time to just pm if you have anything. Thanks JB

Well, the name is George. Car is a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The car has been with me for more than 10 yrs now and not much has been done. My audio has always come from Wal-Mart via Pioneer, Sony, Visionik, even Roadmaster. My first best subs were some JL 12w0's in a prowedge box that took me all summer to save for and I had to drive to Atlanta, Ga to get them. OI thought I was doing something. Then a guy from Montgomery had two Cerwin Vega Stroker 15"s in a Ford Explorer. We're a little slower here in lower Alabama for car audio. However we're bred for football that's why we dominate the SEC. Can you say Roll Tide? How bout War Damn Eagle? Car audio on th…

Hey everyone I am new to the forum. I have a few questions that I am hoping some of you will be able to help me out with. I am currently running two power coustik mofo 10's on 1000 rms. I am looking to upgrade. I am trying to decide between the Fi ssd and DD's 2500 series. I am leaning towards a single 12. I was contemplating between a single 12 and a single 15 but the ssd 15 calls for 3.5-4 cubes for a slotted enclosure. I don't think it will fit in my trunk. I am pretty confident that the overall dimensions would fit however it is initially getting it into my car that has me worried. Another thing that has me worried is that I have tried contacting Fi two different time…

Just checking in, new to the forum. Ive been into car audio every since i heard a wall with 12 10inch JBL's, in a 1973 impala with primer paint job, and 13inch Dayton wheels, 10 years ago lol. I do have quite a bit of knowledge of car audio/video design and whatnot. I mainly knew about mainstream, "household" name brand companies, up until a couple years ago. I lurked around a couple other sites, and i found them not really helpful ( too much bashing others and off the topic talk ). This is the best one i ran into plus it has manufacture boards which i find very helpful
