Just wanted to say hello, I'm always building boxes and such and always hungry to learn more... Next project is an IB with 4 Brahma 12s, can't wait to get started.

I've actually been a member here since 2009 but never posted, kinda active on smd and ****, I'm a car audio fanatic, not unlike most here I assume.

i'm just here doing the newbie thing. Um i work for Extreme Audio out of lafayette louisiana (not the old one the new one). Also not to be confused the extreme that used to be in Rayne. hello everyone anyone in the delaware region

I just put a new system in my car. Got the head unit, door components and dampening and the 4 channel amp as well as a 180 amp alternator. Waiting on dc creations to ship my box which should be sometime next week before i add the sub and extra battery. Heres what i got so far for the overhaul. Parrot Asteroid Aq 120.4 Murder mat Hybrid audio unity 6.5" door components VMAX 120ah agm battery, big 3 Crescendo bc 2000 @.5ohm Aq 15" hdc4 I think i might try out local competitions in missouri but ive never been to one before New to car audio when i got a type x twelve on an alpine amp six months ago and ive been craving more ever since.

Hey guys, I'm new to the ssa community and I just had a question about whether I would be better off with 2 12's (most likely fi q 12's ported and tuned low) or one really loud 15 (most likely a DC xl 15)..obviously ported.. Ok first of all, ill start with the basics..I drive a Volkswagen jetta so the most I can squeeze is 3.5-4 cu. ft...and for power I've got the audioque 2200d and a 220 ho alternator with 1 red top (starter battery) and the big 3 with 4 Ga...now given my trunk is relatively small..I would probably be better off with 3.5 cu. Ft. Recommended for the DC xl but..its taller and would most likely not have enough air space to bounce back off of my trunk lid or…

Hey all. I just ordered a HDS 210 through SSA for my Nissan Frontier. I'm powering it with a memphis 16-st1000d pushing 600w rms at 2 ohm. I have an enclosure design I did & plan to also post at the fabrication forum, but I figured throwing it up here first wouldn't hurt. Hi guys, i am fairly new to this so all/any help would be useful. i have a Optima 55 battery and the problem is that everytime i really test my car on Termlab the battery starts to clip/cutoff. The voltage drops from 14.4V to 11.8V. What can be causing this problem. My car runs on the IASCA format and does a 150.5dB in the Rookie Int. Class. the car clips at 150.5. I am really eager to know what this could be. Looking forward to your help guys. Thanks.
