I have been looking around on here for a few weeks. All I have to say is a lot of you have some really good set-ups! Can't wait to upgrade my system, its in the process. I have an '02 Yukon, Ohio 400 amp alt., 3 batts,0 gauge wires, ap3001d amplifier,Diamond Audio D6 components powered by an Autotek 900,and A Kenwood KDC-mp745u Head Unit, and I am shopping for an 18" woofer, and am doing the Big 3. Aloha everyone, my name is Chris just moved to utah from hawaii. New place, new car, ready for some new sounds. Going to do a FI ib3 18 in a 05 legacy gt. My prior car a 04 infiniti g35 was pretty basic with DLS nordica comps on a rainbow ipaul 4.300, DLS coaxs in rear but not hooked up and variety of different sub stages 2 favorite being a mx12 on a aq2200 and 4 id8v3 on a zapco dc1100. I like to keep it simple, but wanted to try new and different things. Im sure ill get a chance to learn plenty from everyone here, so thanks in advance!!

Hello everybody just got a single Sundown E-15 v.3 and putting it in a 4.00 cu ft slot ported box with a Hifonics BRX1116.1D 1100 watt amp should bump preety good. The last system i had was not vary good i had two pyle 12s 250 watt rms subs with a 1000 watt crunch amp one of them stoped working after about 4 months.

Hey, Ryan here I'm terrible at these intro things so I guess I'll jump right in... In my quest to keep weight in my car low, and to use a small-ish box, I'm really striking out for sub choices. I have a PG RSd10 in a .7 (net) sealed box, stuffed liberally. It gets low, but requires a bit of power and it's pretty annoying above 80Hz. I'm bored, so I was considering porting it. It's a 350 RMS sub, single 4, and supposedly 84dB efficient...although I'm betting that's at 2.83V I'm giving it 400 watts currently. WinISD recommends a 1.8 cu ft box (before port and sub displacement)...ummm...no. Not doing that. Most other subs I look at want 3-4 cu ft Definitely not. Here's wh…

Hey what's up. I just got into the car audio scene because I just got a '06 Scion tC and want to upgrade the sound. In my old car I had an Eclipse head unit, MBQuart components in front and back, and an MTX amp powering it on. I didn't do much research...just went to CarToys and picked out what i liked in my price range. In my tC I plan on dropping a sub...so I've been doing a good deal of research through forums. I have been lurking around here for about 3 months, and most of my questions have been answered by reading through these threads, so I have made no post, yet. I found the SSA site through a myspace group, caraudio:RESPEK. I have had an interest in car and home audio for the last 6 years, within the last two years I have learned a fair amount more than I once believed possible. I would like to continue learning, and thus I am here.

Well there are so many things I could tell you about myself. As you notice my log in the hubby is on here too and we are in the process of building out my car....2008 Mazda Tribute. I am so excited to be competing this year in MECA. We started today by testing to see what frequency will be used. I will be keeping everyone posted with pics as well of our progress we are shooting for January 31, 2010 to be the first show I compete at. There is a lot we have to do but I have confidence we can get it done. I will be competing in S1 this season. I look forward to learning some tricks of the trade on this forum. I guess im a Dub head i listen to alot of Crystal meth Not really in to doing anything elese more then listing to it I like alot of heavy bass music like Datsik dubstep type music. I also listen to alot of detroit underground rap. In to Metal aswell and pretty much anything elese. even Listen to a small amount of country when my Girl is in the ride.
