.... to talk car audio & increase my mobile electronics knowledge. CA.com has turned into a cesspool, need a new home. Old school amplifiers are what I love: ZED Audio, PPI Art, etc. I'm a SQ guy, excessive bass doesn't really do it for me. ---Jacob

Hello all SSA junkies! I'm new to SSA, but not to audio. My name's Mark, and I'm from Anchorage Alaska. I've got a 2000 Ford F-150 Lightning that I'm building a system for. I've been collecting bits and pieces, both new and used. Here's the basics of what's going in; MTX Thunderform box, 1.7 cu ft Q-forms kick panels, will be custom enclosed with fiberglass. Two sets of Hertz HSK165's. One mid placed in door, other in kick panel. Both tweets in kick panels. Crescendo Audio 1000C4 for the front stage Kicker IX1000.1 for the subs Still debating on the subs, but I'm leaning towards some Sundown SA-10's. Hi everyone, I am new to SSA, but been into car audio for years...anyone rember YAMAHA car audio......I now have a 17 year old son that has resurrected my interest and I have enjoyed helping him with his system, things have changed a lot in the years I have been away and the new technology is amazing....I rember when a 200 watt amp was considered huge and the price was around $600.. now you can get one for nothing....gotta love it!!!

Hello out there! I'm from Norfolk VA and LOVE some car audio!!! I'm runnin my ol' school HX2 15''s and was running an Orion 2400HCCA till a few days ago. It almost caught on fire. I need a replacement and was looking around and found yall! I am happy to find other people like me!!!

I've been doing this stuff for many years and after a little lull, I'm back. Found the forum because I'm a proud new owner of a Fi BL15. Hopefully I can give to the forum as well as learn. If you are a local heck I'll even lend a hand. Right now I'm drawing up an enclosure for my Chrysler 300c and would love to see any other ideas.

Newbie Bernard Here, I'm pretty green to this world. I do face a few challenges with my current tin can of a car (old Samurai) - VIBRATION and I mean from the road not the music/speakers. Is this common among jeep owners? This challenge and a few other things interest me and I look forward to learning from the board. Thanks! B
