Newbie Sign IN

I figured i would start one of these since i'm a n00b to this forum. I've been into car audio since my teenage years, and I know my way around installing the basics, and have even built a few slot port boxes. But, i joined this forum in hopes of learning more. There is a wealth of information on this forum, and i am trying to soak up as much of it as I can in my old age (ok, maybe i'm not that old). LOL.

I just bought a pair of 12's Now I got to build a box for them for my Honda Accord I have 2 JL Audio 500/1's that I am going to use to run them. I can't wait to hear them

Anyways, a bit about me I drive a '91 Nissan 240sx with: Clarion DXZ745mp -Crystal CSc60s Components powered by a PA 400.2 Amp -Adire Shiva Mark IV in a sealed 1 cuft box powered by JBL bp600 Amp -Knukonceptz wiring all around I wish to upgrade anything and everything. I will admit I lost major interest in car performance, racing, etc (my car was lined for up an sr20det drop but I decided to not follow through) and now my focus is on car audio. How/Why the hell? Finally signed up here. Currently running a Sundown E12 in a 1.5 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 33Hz off of a JL 500/1. It is an absolute steal for the price.

hey sup guys and gals. Just wanted to drop in and join your forums and hope for a good community feedback and learn a few things. Im an audio enthusiast, but have been out of it for the last 5 years... (no car) I've been out of the loop with what good sound quality is as well as new developed subwoofer. So I recently bought an is300 and trying to work on buying pieces to fit the car sound system. So far, on hand i have is the Cadence iA4 for my components. Im still shopping around but not in a rush to get everything at once. So, for now, I'll stick around and learn of a few new things to come

Hi all,not new to car audio,been into it for over 20 years. The family came along and u know that ment car audio on the downlo. Now the kids are grown and out of the house so back in i want to go.i have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited and would like any help u can give me on setting up a good front sound stage. Volume is nice but looking more for SQ,looking at polk audio speakers,but open to other ideas,want to go with 2 12inch subs in a sealed box . Ps the complete stock speakers,amp and head unit have to go!lol

had systems in the past but didnt ever really go in depth with them just got what ever the guy at the audio shop told me would be best but now starting to try and get into it and learn installs and box building/ tuning myself and stuff and eventually want to compete once i get my system how i want it and at a point i think i have a chance lol

I drive a 99 ram 1500 which has had five different audio setups, I am currently working on my biggest build yet consisting of a center console build housing two FI Q10 d2 with everything but high QTS, Front stage is Image Dynamics 6.5" component, and rears are Image dynamics 5" coaxial all with .5 mdf baffles. Headunit is a new alpine cde with the tuneit option, amps are going to be a soundstream reference 4.760 for front and rear stage, and the subs will be powered by strapped soundstream rubicon 1.1600d ported using a 4" dimpled precision port.
