Hello all. Just checking in from Denver. I will be doing a lot of reading here. Seems like a lot of valuable information. I just got my first truck and its a 2013 SCrew F150. Don't know if I am going to do a sub but full speaker swap with amp is def coming. It's just fun to play around with all kinds of ideas. Daydreaming is fun

Just wanted to say hi to the forum. I am new to this forum but have been into car audio for around 20 years. I have to say that this is one of the best forums I have seen for car stereos. I am getting a truck soon and am getting ready for a new system. I have my components and 3 amps from my last set up, just need to decide on the rest of the equipment after I get the vehicle.

Well I've been lurking around here for a looong time, reading everything, doing searches, bugging some people through PM. Decided it was time I introduced myself. I'm in Round Rock, TX (Austin area). I'm interested in both home and car audio and would be considered a newbie for both- but hopefully not for long. I am definitely interested in SQ, with the goal of becoming an actual audiophile Oh yeah, I was referred over here from another user I met at another forum- thanks ///M5!

Hi, I'm a new member from Buckeye country aka OH...IO :-) I got re-involved in car audio once my son started driving a year ago. My last foray into car audio was back in the late 70s/early 80s so I have had to learn alot of new things. We have put an audio system in his 3000GT consisting of Pioneer 4900 hu, Rainbow coax in front, Polk 6x9 3 ways in rear (his choice as he wanted 'surround sound' but i tried to persuade him otherwise-)), and 2 12 type Rs currently in a sealed box. Going to build a ported box for them soon. Front/rear stage amp is Precision Power A1200/4, sub amp is Power Acoustik OV1-4000D, all wired via 1/0. I look forward to being a member here.

Hello, Just thought I'd say hi. I'm from Mississauga which is right beside Toronto (no leaf jokes please ) So far I have a head unit (Pioneer Premier DEH-P690UB) and sub (Image Dynamics Q12v3D4).....still looking for some amps and a front end. Looking forward to being part of the board. B

Hi, I figure I introduce myself since I never been to this forum. My name is Milton and I have been in the car audio game since 2001. I have owned a few subwoofers brands like eD, RE audio, JL, and infinity. I currently have a 13w7 and will soon be selling it since I recently purchase two 12" FI Q's. Alright guys what's up! I need some help here. Right now I have a 97 BMW 318is with a 12'' Kicker CVR in a ported box a 800watt PPI PCX2200 amp. and a ghetto cheap cap from Fry's. Now I need some Components that'll fit just like factory. My local shop told me to go with Focals so that'll probably be what i run with unless i get enough people to tell me i can get something as good for cheaper haha. I was wondering if I could get a sub that'll rape 2 12'' cvr, cvx, jl w6v2. I want a single sub at 800rms that'll use a box that takes almost half my trunk. I do care about SQ. I've read that RE SE and SX are great subs. I wanted to see what else was out there. Oh and right now …
