hey guys, another new Michigander here. i'm from Metro Detroit and very into cars and car audio. i have a 2004 Chevy Blazer 2 door with a full JL Audio system right now(i know its expensive as heck but i bought it all on sale) and not fully happy with it so i look forward to learning and seeing what else i can do to be able to compete in local competitions and such.

I have advanced skills in building enclosures and my Home Cinema I want to go with a tapped horn subwoofer. The subwoofer selection process will be done as next step, and there are many interesting chassis out there... Hi everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Quebec, Canada and I'm now the owner of a new MAW-15 subwoofer and I've got a couple of Q's for you! So thinking I can use this page for those...I'll post my principal question here...which is what would be a good budget amp to power this sub, keeping in mind that I might add another one later? I was thinking about a Hifonics BXi 1206D. Does it makes sense at all? And how much wRMS this subwoofer can take? I know it is rated at 500w, but will it handles something like 750w/RMS daily? Thanks for your inputs guys!

what's happenin guys? i'm looking into doing an install soon for a couple 10" Fi SSD's. I have a single cab 2005 Tacoma. i'm trying to figure out what to do about a box, i'm limited with space and haven't built a box of my own yet. i'll also be looking for a good amp to power them. and any other info for that matter. any suggestions?

Seriously! How does a loud mouthed idiot with : 1-15" crappy "Kole" SVC w/400wrms. Pushed by a ancient 250w 2ch. MTX amp. hooked up like a 5yr. old wired it in a jeep grand with NO upgrades. Pound as hard as..... My system which consists of : 1-12" Sundown Nsv.3 2500wrms. Pushed by a 3350wrms 1ohm. stable monoblock, Hifonics Zeus Elite amp. 2- Kinetik 2400Blu. AGM batteries. A 220 Amp alternator upgrdade. W/VSR Regulator & Hifonics HDBR all dedicated to 32hz.tuned sub & enclosure.... While this Clown runs around on a dead single battery and frayed small unprotected wiring and a pathetic setup?!?!?!?!?! I'm SO pissed off ! How the Herrrow…

Been into car audio since 1998 (didnt even have my liscence till 2001) by the end of 2001 I had upgraded to 2 mtx 81000d's and a DD9515. Go big or go home! Have been just trying to enjoy my music lately but the bass just keeps pulling me back in

well would like to say im now a new member to this site and loving it so far... alittle about me im from lacey washington and getting into this audio scene i got a 2001 4runner and was looking to do a 10 inch sub with about 1000watts thinking about sundown, dd, or even dc sub for amps im leaning more towards sundown but idk yet i got a new born so funds are gonna be spent wisely lol. well hope i find eveything i need on here laters

Well there are so many things I could tell you about myself. As you notice my log in the hubby is on here too and we are in the process of building out my car....2008 Mazda Tribute. I am so excited to be competing this year in MECA. We started today by testing to see what frequency will be used. I will be keeping everyone posted with pics as well of our progress we are shooting for January 31, 2010 to be the first show I compete at. There is a lot we have to do but I have confidence we can get it done. I will be competing in S1 this season. I look forward to learning some tricks of the trade on this forum. Good luck to everyone this season.

Finally signed up here. Currently running a Sundown E12 in a 1.5 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 33Hz off of a JL 500/1. It is an absolute steal for the price.

Hey all what's going on? Been quite a while since I was last on here. Had a nice AIM convo with Dave Edwards and that got me back to checking out the board. I've just been so damn busy since I moved back to my parents house 2 years ago. I'm going to school, working 25+hours a week, coaching high school football and baseball, playing hockey and softball, along with trying to have a life. To say the least I'm a bit busy. I'm going to try to dedicate some time to checking the board atleast a few times a week. Just wanted to let the few that do know me that I'm back.

Just joined here recently, trying to find my way around here, and Trying to learn more about Car Audio.
