Hi everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Quebec, Canada and I'm now the owner of a new MAW-15 subwoofer and I've got a couple of Q's for you! So thinking I can use this page for those...I'll post my principal question here...which is what would be a good budget amp to power this sub, keeping in mind that I might add another one later? I was thinking about a Hifonics BXi 1206D. Does it makes sense at all? And how much wRMS this subwoofer can take? I know it is rated at 500w, but will it handles something like 750w/RMS daily? Thanks for your inputs guys!

I have been looking to upgrade my speakers and began looking into the SSA Icon's. Looking forward to learning alot about these subs.

I have been looking around on here for a few weeks. All I have to say is a lot of you have some really good set-ups! Can't wait to upgrade my system, its in the process. I have an '02 Yukon, Ohio 400 amp alt., 3 batts,0 gauge wires, ap3001d amplifier,Diamond Audio D6 components powered by an Autotek 900,and A Kenwood KDC-mp745u Head Unit, and I am shopping for an 18" woofer, and am doing the Big 3. I am always up for suggestions on any products! Thanks everyone.

Hey guys, I've made a couple of posts here regarding my order and some questions. Loving the SSA forums so far, it's been a great experience. Not to mention the excellent service I've gotten from SSA. MAde my first purchase of the Sundown X12 and recently switched my order to a Zv4. The great Customer service will make me a regular around here starting with my MechMan alternator I'll be ordering in Sept. Anyways my names Dylan and I live in BC. Hi, Im Mike i just bought 2 RE SR 10 D4 subs after my old system was stolen ( 4 pioneer 12's, rockford 1500.1 1700+ RMS @ 2ohms, 3 optima yellow tops, to infinity 4 channels) so im starting all over. . and would like some info and help. my goal is to use 6-8 10's in my 97 s-10 blazer . anybody want to see pics of my blazer and old system lettme know. -Mike

Hey guys, been lurking around here, but haven't been signed up or posting here. Actually just finished up my first build ever and had Robin (Iamamp3pimp from BHE) build my box up for me. It's a 4th order blow through the rear deck. It's currently running on 2x Skar VVX12s on a Hifonics 1606D @ 1 ohm. Looking to get 2 Xcons to pair up with the Crescendo 3KWP I have thats currently getting repaired.
