Noob to the forum but not to car audio...... That is all

I just joined this forum to start learning some more high end and higher power equipment. Ive had a few smaller systems but now im ready to step up to alittle more power but i dont know much when it comes to setting things up. If i ask stupid question im sorry just tell me to shut the hell up. I look forward to learning as much as i can.

This will be my first time trying to do anything other than just straight swapping speaker for speaker. I have a '96 Jeep Cherokee Sport that i would like to stick a woofer in the "cubby hole" similar to this http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/write-up-97186/ . Except that i would like to avoid spray foam and just fiberglass the cavity. Is this feasible? Would it last? Also I would like to 'glass a replacement panel for the car instead of just hack up the original and hide the woofer. This is a Daily beater vehicle until i get around to finishing my classic car... and will probably remain a daily vehicle even after that. I was originally looking at SoundQubed's HD…

Hi, all. Jntar over at caraudio.com invited me here... so here I am. I have been dicking around with car audio since the early 1980s... currently, I have a 1992 Vette with an Alpine 7998 hu, JL Audio 500/5 amp, Canton RS3 front stage, JL Audio 10W3V2, no rear fill. Some of you may know me from the www.corvetteforum.com, where I am the keeper of the C4 (1984-1996 Corvettes) Audio FAQ and the mod of audio stuff over at www.domesticmisfits.com (feels like I am writing a resume!). Just looking for some more audio info... I am a pure audiophile. I don't want bling, I want sound. SQ is where it's at for me!

Hey, im a new guy from Wilmington, NC. Found this site from Sundown's site. Working on putting my truck back together that I havent competed with in a few years. Hope to see some of you at some shows Brian

New to the forum here is a run down of the truck. Clarion- NZ500 matching EQ, 4 sets of 6X9 componets in the front doors, A-pilla pods have 5.25 componet, titanium tweets in the stock location on the dash, power by 2 Aq 90X4... For BASS 6 AQ 10's power ed by AQ 2/3500D. XS power alt 270/360/ Bat 2/D3100 / 1 D 6500 under the hood. My camera is broken can take any pic. You tube channel is Mason858 if you would like to see how it look for now have some up grades coming.

Hey everyone, I drive a 96 3.0l V6 Camry xle 4 door and I got into the car audio game about 4 months ago when i bought a bunch of stuff off Craigslist for 100 bucks. I bought 2 jl 12w0's, a box tuned to ? freq with about 3 cubes of space, a 4 channel amp that I'm bridging off 2 (I have no idea about wattage or anything about the amp, I can't find on google anywhere), 4 gauge amp kit, 2 coaxial polk speakers, and 2 3-way fosgate 6x9's. I have been playing that for the last four months and now i just am craving so much more. It just doesn't do it for me and I have big plans (for me) for my next build.
