looking for some good advice for a s10 reg cab build anything that will fit behind the seat is good enough for me. Well to a certain point. I have about $400 to spend on subs.

why cant i start a thread in the competition section? my friend owns a shop in beloit and i told him id put the word out that theres gonna be a usaci event there so id like to start a thread in the comp section but i cant for some reason... does it have to do with me being new or something?

Quick question. If I have two subs at 1 ohm each and they were wired into a mono amp with 4 connectors, would the impendance come to 1 ohms since they were technically in parallel?

8 15's, 4 4500's, 3 alts, and 18 volt

What's up guys? Love the site and all the good info. I just put a small setup in my truck, now I fell back into the vicious cylce of it never being loud enough. So, now I'm thinkin of doing a wall, lol. Will keep you posted on what I decide or possibly a build thread.

Hello Every one my name is Doug Roberts, Stumbled along this sight when I was actually looking for other mercury cougar spl setups. Anyways Just thought Id say hello and see what this whole forum was about.

What's going on all. I have been lurking on the site for the past 6 months, reading, learning and such. Have always had car audio in my rides since 1997. In 1997, I purchase my first vehicle 1997 Blazer ZR-2. Well I needed subs and put two Eclipse SW6000s 10 inch in there. I then had a 1988 Toyota Cressida that was rocking two 10 inch Eclipse SW 88100, ran by an MTX 81000D amp. Then a 2000 Escalade that I moved the two 10 Eclipse to and added a 10 inch Eclipse SW9100, all powered by Hifonic Brutus amps. Then there is a 1998 Suburban with two 12 inch MTX 7500, powered by a Hifonics amp....THEN I stumbled across this board and learned about building a ground pounding…

Sup fellas. Figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. Don't have a whole lot to say so I'll just talk a bit about my system. Currently have 2 dual 2ohm sa-12's. Powered by a crunch 1500.1. Bought this for 80 bucks when I upgraded from my previous system, so it's just temporary. Very soon I'll be purchasing a pair of saz-1500d's which I'm very excited about. I'm currently working on my electrical so I'll be ready for the monster amps. I also posted in the electrical section asking for some help on electrical.

Well I am amateur at building systems, from Texas. Currently I have a F-250 super cab. I will be installing MTX thounderform box with (2) sundown audio SD-3 10 D4 powered by SAE-1500D. I have 4 kicker CS 6x8 in the doors that I plan on adding a SAX-100.4 V2 to. It's a work in progress so I'll be reading old post asking questions here and there, thanks for the add!!

Hello guys, Looking to do my first semi big build consisting of focal expert 6.5 components up front, almani audio 6.5 rears for midbass, pioneer gm-d8604 amp, Sony xav-712hd DVD player, DC 5.0k amp running @ .5ohm, and a DD 9915 with super charge option although I'm not stuck on running the DD because I have two AA team 18s I could run...decisions! I'll be running a mechman 240a alternator, group 24 agm and 2 H8 agm Batts in the rear with 2 runs (or more?) of 2/0 front to back in my 2007 4runner. My question, how do I got about wiring the front batt to the rear, could I use a bus bar in the rear that ties the two positive terminals of the rear Batts togeth…

Well there are so many things I could tell you about myself. As you notice my log in the hubby is on here too and we are in the process of building out my car....2008 Mazda Tribute. I am so excited to be competing this year in MECA. We started today by testing to see what frequency will be used. I will be keeping everyone posted with pics as well of our progress we are shooting for January 31, 2010 to be the first show I compete at. There is a lot we have to do but I have confidence we can get it done. I will be competing in S1 this season. I look forward to learning some tricks of the trade on this forum. Hello, I'm Dave, and I'm a audioholic. I don't know if I will ever come clean..... Now aside from that I have been registered here now for a while but have never got around to posting anything. Denim knows me from another forum and talked to him pretty extensively about the SSA products. I am planning on competing next year in MECA's SPL league.
