Just here to introduce myself.... Name is Danny... Just got back into car audio after a long break customizing PCs... Looking into getting a new subwoofer to replace an old setup I just re-installed in my 2003 Camry... System Build: Pioneer Premier 610BT Kenwood amp 70x4 (interiors) KAC X810D (mono) 2 JL AUDIO 10w3(6-7 years old) Q-Logic Bandpass Looking to just have one 12" most likely.. Any recommendations on a new sub for replacement?

Been looking around for a good car audio forum and figured I'd settle down here =D I've been dabbling on and off of car audio for the past 5 years but I have yet to learn the real mechanics of it. So anyways nice to meet you all.

saw the link on FXN and i knew for a while that denim had a site somewhere but i didnt know the address. anyway my name is matt im 18 and from midlothian, VA. i drive a 98' explorer sport. right now im runnin a HiFonics BX1605D 1600watt amp and some crappy RF subs, but by the end of the week i should have my 2 RE SE 12"s in the mail. im hoping to learn some things from this site. any way just sayin hi.

I plan on going to college for a degree in mechanical engineering and going into a profession in acoustical engineering. At the moment im sitting with my 2000 mercury sable equipped with a Kenwood KDC-MP538U HU running an Alipne MRP-M500 powering two SWS-1023D subs. Hi there. Just joined you all the way from a rather cold England. My name is Erskine and I have a very strong working interest in Bass Box Designs, anyway I have just been given two nice new Magnum D2's which I shall be putting into one of my tried and tested Three Chamber Internally Ported Reflex Boxes. As the D2's are two ohm per coil, have previous owners got a preference for the wiring options. Both coils in series or parallel and then both speakers in either series or parallel. I will be using a Genesis Monobloc rated at 1650wrms [1200wrms with my current electrical set-up] into one ohm and I am more of an SQ guy rather than out and out SPL. Just interested to hear …

I've been into car audio since way back but not so much hardcore for the past 15 years. Now with my son driving it's just a little too much fun getting his car bumpin a bit. I am not a mass poster and came here because a couple other forums I've checked out seem to be more about drama than the jam. It looks clean here...I like that.

seen so many people reppin this forum at CA.com i had to come. My system is in shambles right now. i have 2 soundsplinter rli-8's in my truck but one is not runnin right now becuase the brutus i had to push the 2 decided to crap out on me with only 6 hours on it. after it was smoked i found out a lot of hifonics amps had trouble at 1 ohm so it was a lesson learned haha. so i have 1 going on my component amp an old soundstream rubiconII300-2 blah its a great amp but not really what i want to use it for. well i guess this is my hello to the forum lol hope to talk to you all later...

Shout out to Gary [banginALTIMA], Jacob, Paul [12-12's in Cherokee], and my homie Rowshard who introduced me to Fi Audio. Fi is on another level as far as sound quality and sound pressure go. I've heard all kind of subs - Kicker, Memphis Audio, JL Audio, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer, MTX... and to be honest, those are good subs, but Fi, RE, SSA, and Sundown subs are...well you have to hear and FEEL them to really get an impression of them.
