What's up everybody , I have a '94 saturn sl2 and have used dynamat xtreme and dynaliner on the floorpan and doors to quiet it down considerably. Also had major work done on my alternator to strengthen that weak link. Next up will be to upgrade the security system. I hope to learn a lot from this site, thanks to all yall.

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name's Tim and I live in NC. I've been around car audio for 18-19 years. I used to be a sq competitor in IASCA and Slap in the 90's. I was a certified judge and trainer until 2003. I've been away from car audio for a while but not audio in general. I've been messing with home theater and audio. Just recently, I got interested in messing around with car audio again. Hopefully I can contribute some knowledge to the forums here. Thanks in advance for having me. Tim

Hello guys. While I have been reading this forum for a while, this is the first time i'v posted. I have a box made by Fisher and his quality of work, along with his customer service, is first rate. Does anybody know if he has returned to box making? I've read that he took alittle haitus for a while.

But i just sold my cvxs 15 i had and decided to get 2 Fi BTL18 for the new system and im a hifonics amp guy any help or good power i see that its 2000rms so i will need a good 2 amps power well any help would be good thank you all..

Hey all. I am quite new to the world of car audio and its already completely addicting. I found my way to this forum/site thanks to the guys at caraudio. They recommended a 187 series Sub. I plan on ordering a 10 or 12 incher for my new system. I'm running a 5350A Reference amp from infinity. I have 300RMS at 2ohms. Can anyone suggest which would be better, a 10 or 12? Thank you very much. The reason im getting a 187 is i only have around 100 bucks to spend.

Hey guys. Figured Id check this place out since *** confuses the hell out of me. But Ive been on the J-Body forums for awhile. I have a Sundown SAZ-1000D and an Alpine Type-R 15 dual 2 ohm. Im hitting 139.7 db on a daily system tuned to 33hz. So ya thats me.

I just wanted to say hi, i have used fi subs in the past im back using them .I just placed my order for a 15 inch D-2 ssd with copper coils.The subs goin in a box tune to 35 Hz, sub up ports back. what u guys think of the tuning for this sub?

My dads sending me a new Fi BL15 in a month or so and he's leaving it up to me to find an amp to match its 1000w rms. It has the dual 2-ohm coil option also. I'm trying to find a decent amp that will push it for under $200, i know its a stretch, but if anybody can help me out I'd appreciate it.

Ive been out of car audio for awhile, probably the last 5 years. My Adire Audio Brahmas surrounding ripped away from the cone last night. The last sub I remember hearing about being compared with the Brahma was the RE XXX so I was interested in finding one of those to try out. Come to find out they arent around the $400 range anymore, but a whopping $1,200!! So I said bump that. But a guy on a different site told me about the founder of RE starting up a new company named Fi Car Audio. So here I am, trying to figure out which of these products may be equal to or better than the Brahma and XXX. Oh and trying to find a place to recone my Brahma as well. Any suggestions on …

Hi i new to the forum and the reason why im posting this is because i cant figure out which sub fit my needs..... I want a sub that has good sound quality so i was looking at the FI Q but i also want a sub that can hit hard as well... this is going in the trunk of a honda civic and im shooting for a size 15 maybe 2 15 but im not sure if 2 can fit in the trunk.... can anybody help me on considering good components... hey sup guys and gals. Just wanted to drop in and join your forums and hope for a good community feedback and learn a few things. Im an audio enthusiast, but have been out of it for the last 5 years... (no car) I've been out of the loop with what good sound quality is as well as new developed subwoofer. So I recently bought an is300 and trying to work on buying pieces to fit the car sound system. So far, on hand i have is the Cadence iA4 for my components. Im still shopping around but not in a rush to get everything at once. So, for now, I'll stick around and learn of a few new things to come

hello everyone. im new to this. I am looking for a trade in ohio. i live in northwest ohio. Findlay area to be more exact. i have a AUDIOPIPE TXX-AP15 EYECANDY BLUE DUAL4OHM 2000WATT 15"sub in ported box made for this sub. not very old barely used. its never been turned up dont wanna damage it. im looking to get 2-12" dual 2ohm subs in box for trade. or maybe even 1-12" dual 2ohm sub in box. there isnt enough room in my trunk for this beastly 15 and box so looking to down grade to smaller size. please feel free to make offers thanks for reading OKEY!DOKEY! Well, I've been researching newer brands and products on the forum for awhile...figured I may as well atleast get in my first post. I'm pretty good w/ the search function so I hadn't had much need to post, but here it is. Been through countless different systems in countless different cars over the past 11 years. You know the drill, 2-3x's as many systems as cars. More of a DIY'er, but now I'm lazy and happen to be old friends w/ a master installer so I choose to save myself some time nowadays. Currently organizing a build for an 03 Expedition that was recently acquired, more to come...stay tuned. (Wish I still had my PG MS2125, bet amp I ever had.)

Hello everyone. Just checking in. Guess I'll be popping in over here every once in a while. Had a Magnum 12 in my Trans Am for quite a while. Have met Nick and he's a great guy with a great product and I hope to one day have his stuff in my car again. Maybe a set of 307s with a SI selected 6.5" midbass along with the sub I wish they'd build, but more on that later.
