Well first off let me say I have been fllowing this forum for about 2 months now and I love it. I have to say that I was in such a rush for info that I never look in this section or paid attention to having to post in here for your first 2 post. Anyways my name is Kenneth. I am US military stationed abroad in Italy and enjoying life. I have been into car audio for a long time and since joining the military and having enough money to do the things I like, I started installing my own systems and building my own boxes. Hi, my name's Al & I'm admittedly a n00b to many things audio! I recently installed a 7" flip-up DVD/mp3/bluetooth/iPod/GPS ready head unit from Coff.. Coff.. *Boss Audio, BV9985* Coff in my '93 Honda Civic EX, as well as 2 of these 6x9" speakers & amp.. TheLoudest.com's 350w rms / 2000w peak 6x9"s TheLoudest.com 3000w (peak) 2-channel monoblock amp Now I want to install my two 12" Boston Acoustics G512-44 subs but am not sure which amp to get.. at all! There's so many good options! I found these 2 subs for $400 shipped from Crutchfield! Here are 3 pics of my ugly ricer so you know what I'm working with lol.

I have been dicking around with car audio since the early 1980s... currently, I have a 1992 Vette with an Alpine 7998 hu, JL Audio 500/5 amp, Canton RS3 front stage, JL Audio 10W3V2, no rear fill. Some of you may know me from the www.corvetteforum.com, where I am the keeper of the C4 (1984-1996 Corvettes) Audio FAQ and the mod of audio stuff over at www.domesticmisfits.com (feels like I am writing a resume!). Just looking for some more audio info... I am a pure audiophile. I don't want bling, I want sound. SQ is where it's at for me!

New to the site from Oregon. Recently bought a work car, It had an amp (infinty reference) and subs(12" alpines) in it already. I had no idea bass could be so much fun . As a 45 yr old late bloomer I'm hoping to learn a litte to feed my latest obsession.

Hey everyone! My name is Robert. I've been in car audio for awhile now. I'm actually in the process of building a new box for my RE SE 15 and i'm gonna see what kind of numbers i can get out of it. I've been using this woofer for sound quality with a kick in a 2.4cuft sealed box with 500w. I'm about to build a 4cuft box tuned to somwhere from 38hz - 40hz not sure yet. Oh and this is all gonna be in a Chevy s10 ext. cab.
