i need an amp that's $200 or less to push a single sundown sa-12, 4ohm dvc i have a hifonics hifi1000.1d but it's total shit the box is 1.5ft^3 tuned to 30hz i want enough bass but not too much i am looking at rockford r500-1 kicker zx750.1d mtx td1000.1d it's going in a 2000 honda insight any suggestions?? i want some quality but i'm also trying to save as much money as possible

New here. Drive an Eddie Bauer Explorer. I ordered the 12" Icon and Sundown 1000 combo on Monday. Can't wait to get it in. It said 3 day ground so I guess Ill get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Didnt get a tracking number so not quite sure. Im not worried about it though. Im assuming that ICON12D2 means Icon 12" dual 2 ohm so I can run it at 1ohm right? Couldnt imagine them selling the 1 ohm DVC with the amp. Anyways, thanks for the forum and the products. I'll be sure to make a build log when I order my wire and start on the box.

Hey folks. I'm here to learn more about car audio. I've got a 2006 MINI Cooper S that has a piss poor OEM system and a lot of road noise. I've decided I will do sound deadening and audio system improvement. I have a handle on what I am going to do for the deadening, but the audio part is a maze right now. But i just sold my cvxs 15 i had and decided to get 2 Fi BTL18 for the new system and im a hifonics amp guy any help or good power i see that its 2000rms so i will need a good 2 amps power well any help would be good thank you all..

Hello all, New to the forums! My name is chris, I'm from Racine, WI. Awaiting my first FI BL 15 since August 22. I'm getting excited approaching the one month mark. I designed a 5 cuft3 all kerfed ported enclosure and have a hifonics x14 1500.1d "wanted to test this new series" amp 1/0 gauge wire ran to the back and big three upgrade. Gauge dragon volt meter. Will post pics and eventually video of the setup when it's complete based on curiosity.

I've got boxes of stuff to install, Massive Audio NX5 amp, Hertz components and coaxials, sound deadening gear, etc. I live in the Pacific NorthWet, near Seattle, WA and own a 07 Hyundai Sonata Limited.
