Newbie Bernard Here, I'm pretty green to this world. I do face a few challenges with my current tin can of a car (old Samurai) - VIBRATION and I mean from the road not the music/speakers. Is this common among jeep owners? This challenge and a few other things interest me and I look forward to learning from the board. Thanks! B

Just wanted to say whats up to everyone and see if ne one could give me some advice or just has ne tips for me on my setup. I drive a 98 gmc jimmy with a yellop top battery and a 160 amp alternator. I have 2 voodoo 1600d class amplifiers running to two kove armageddon z 12 inch subs in a square ported box. The box is built to the specs on the kove site for two subs with no divider in the middle of the box and two square ports tuned to what the site called for. I know a lot of people on here know a lot about these subs. What I have heard is that the box for these subs should be bigger than what the site called for.Also if anyone knows where I can get the ohm on my subs cha…

Just curious if anyone knows of a good grille that fits over my icon 12's. I need them covered cause my 3 year olds love to play with them. Any help is appreciated guys.

Hello, I've been reading on here for the last few days and thought I should go ahead a register. I'm getting back into car audio after a few years away so I'm kinda a newbie to that again to I guess. I haven't really paid attention to the industry the past few years. I'm still trying to figure out what amp and subs I want to put into my 98 civic hatch.

My old one included- (2) 12 inch Powerbase Extreme Subwoofers (About 800 Watts RMS Each) (1) Elemental Designs NINe.1 (1400 RMS at 14.1v) Here is a pic My future system - I really want the new SSD's (2) 12's depending on the price. I think that will match my needs the most. I want around 1500-1800 RMS and I am still looking for an amp. I hope I dont need to upgrade in the electrical area. I have a 2006 Dodge Charger V8. I heard bout ssa from an audio demo at the fire it up car show in peoria. i got a single cab ranger with 3 12" california profile cx 12's powered by a 1000 watt koiiler 2 ch. amp. then a 500 watt insignia 2 ch. for the door speakers. haven't installed the door speakers. lookin forward for the ssa 8" decon's. id put 3 in my truck for sure. well thats bout it. thanks.

Infinity Kappa 6x9s. 2 Mach 5 12s Hifonics BXi1606D SoundStream EGA 300.2X Crossfire TEK 50.2 still waiting on the subs but i am going to have my comps installed tomorrow, had to make speaker rings to mount them. Will post pics latr.

Hey guys, just wanted to sign in and post some info. I found this site looking for info on Sundown amps and I got more than I hoped for here. I have '06 Scion Xb, I spent a lot of money on visual and suspension modifications and it's about time I put some better audio in the car than stockies. I'm on budget as the wifey looks at me with a killer eye every time a new part comes in for the car so I can't get what I want exactly. I wanted to do good front components and good coaxials/components for the back as we always lay front seats flat and sit with our heads right infornt of rear speakers when we go to drive in movies, wanted good Sundown 4 channel for Speakers and 4or2…

I've been out of car audio for 15 years now and am just starting to get back in. Can't wait to get some good info from people who actually know something about car audio. It's a refreshing change from customer reviews and other forum posts like "I got 4 12"s that slam so hard my girlfriend went into labor!"

Hey all what's going on? Been quite a while since I was last on here. Had a nice AIM convo with Dave Edwards and that got me back to checking out the board. I've just been so damn busy since I moved back to my parents house 2 years ago. I'm going to school, working 25+hours a week, coaching high school football and baseball, playing hockey and softball, along with trying to have a life. To say the least I'm a bit busy. I'm going to try to dedicate some time to checking the board atleast a few times a week. Just wanted to let the few that do know me that I'm back.
