Are these two brands made in the same factory Next question what would give best sound quality in a sealed enclosure Fi SSD10 or AA 10 inch Chaos Third question would these sound better than an RE Audio SR10

Ok so i have an acura rsx and i'm looking to have a ported box that's about 1.2 cubic feet or less to go in the trunk with the sub facing up and the port firing at the hatch/trunk. From what i hear, the SA-12 can be put in a smaller box than the Q; however, would it get as low? or have the same Sound Quality (although i know sq isn't really what subs, especially poerted ones, are for) The Sa-12 is cheaper (about $45-55 less) than the Q, and this money could go towards sound deadening or other things also. Help me choose Please! haha If more information needs to be given lemme know

Hey guys, im new to the whole car audio scene and this is the first car audio forum i have been a member at. Thanks to my boy ronrico for lettin me kno about the forum and all these great companies (FI, AA, Sundown...ect.), and teaching me everything i know(I still have a ways to go). I will soon be running a 15" Havoc on a Sundown 1500d, and I also will be using a SAX 100.2 for my Mids/Highs Setup. Now that i have my new sub and amp on the way (SKAR Audio 12" subwoofer and Sundown Audio SAX-1200D), i wanted to post a thread that might ask for clarification on the theory of what everyone refers to as " 10% is the Equipment and 90% is the Installation". What exactly does this mean? I mean, obviously, i would imagine that the box within which you place your subwoofer will make a huge difference. The grade of wiring you use will make a difference. All of the level adjustments made on the amplifier will make a big difference. I just want to ensure that i get the best sound out of my new purchase, and if 90% of what is to be expected is in the installation i wan…

I have been working with my new Icon 12 D2 sub for a little while trying to get the sound like I want. I started with building the recommended enclosure from SSA the optimal one. I built this before I had the sub so I threw in my trusty old infinity perfect and too my suprise it sounded great even though the size of enclosure is outside of what infinity recommended way back then. i expected it to be too low and limit the frequency response but just the opposite happened. This new box extended both the low and upper range of this sub. The upper range, above 50hz has been lacking in my little honda accord. with that in mind I had high expectations for the new sub. I …

Right now i have 2 audiopipe apsm 1500 on two sa 12s i will be gettin 2 more sa's so my question is what will be the best amp to.run all 4 so i can have just one amp to power my subs

Looking to run a Sound Quality system just wondering when it comes to SQ is sealed better thing ported I here if you run sealed you need more power to push the subs.

Ya so, I had set up a SSA forum account, made a great build, enjoyed it for a couple months...and then went to prison...I knew I was going but that didn't make things any easier. Anyways 18 months later I'm out now and in the halfway house just months away from being able to re-build my system into my '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Man am I excited! Hey everyone, I used to be pretty big into SPL competitions back in the day and just joined up as I think I am getting back in the game. Ive had a project car for quite a few years in storage and looking to get ideas as to what to do next from any fellow members. Its a 94 Saturn and would like to start from scratch with another vehicle but unsure what to do with the Saturn. Anyways, looking forward to contributing in any way I can and learning a few new things along the way.

Found this site looking for ideas for my 2013 f150 platinum. Currently running alpine mv 500 to two alpine bass 10". And alpine mv 500 four channel to front jbl gto component speakers. After reading the noobie warnings, I will be looking around trying to not get booted. As I have a lot to learn. So, I'll be lurking in the shadows.

I've been all over the internet with this. I anyone here has a workable solution, then this forum is better than any of the other half dozen places I've contacted. I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra that has the factory installed radio/CD player. It does not have any USB ports for playing music. What it does have is an iPod port. Not a port that you plug an iPod into directly - rather a port (inside the console) that requires a cable to be plugged into it, with the iPod itself plugged into the other end of the cable.
