hey guys im od sound and i heard about this forum on the car audio respek group on myspace! our current set up consists of a single 12" type r a power acoustik sl2-2000 amp its not much but it does just fine.

alright ive been pondering whether 2 get 2 15" re audio sx's or 2 15" fi bl's and im not sure which and would appreciate it if yall would help me with the decision. i no if i get the 2 fi's itll be a lil bit cheaper but i dont no which is gonna be more sq and which is gonna be louder for a daily setup thatll also get metered. the systems gonna be in a gmc sonoma ext. cab

Long story short i made a thread on a local forum (hawaiicaraudio.net) and it was about my 12" si mag v3. Someone mentioned a ssa xcon and them being great ""&quot;SQL&quot;"" subs, compareable to my mag in many ways they said. That was enough for me to want to join this forum, ive actually browsed on here before, read up on a few different sundown topics (x-8 which im excited for). From what ive seen, this seems like another great forum So yea...WHAT UP GUYS!

I am new here of course just stopping in for some advice and good fun. I competted in many db drags ten years ago but I laid off due to the military. I was always that guy that wanted the highest db and got away from sq and now that I am older I require more sq and less db. With that being said I am glad to be on this forum and hope all is well with everyone.

Hey guys, I just signed on to the forum. I'm relatively new to the world of car audio. I own a '95 GMC Jimmy and have plenty of room in the back. But I'm going to college soon so I don' exactly have a lot of cash to spend on audio equipment. Luckily I found out about Sundown Audio on another forum I frequent. I hope to get one or two of the new SA-8 subs when they come out next month, or maybe on or two of the old E-8s. I'm also enrolled in a woods class at my high school so I was gonna make a few sub boxes as projects in that class. If anyone has any tips on building a vented box please PM me.

Hey all, Name's Alex. I have read alot of threads through this forum and finally decided to sign up. I am new to car audio in general but am learning. I plan on going to college for a degree in mechanical engineering and going into a profession in acoustical engineering. At the moment im sitting with my 2000 mercury sable equipped with a Kenwood KDC-MP538U HU running an Alipne MRP-M500 powering two SWS-1023D subs. Just got my recone kits for my two old Beyond Audio X-ones. I got the glue with them as well, and was wondering how the clear liquid in the spray bottle, likely hardener, is used during the recone process? Anyone can shed some light on this? I tried to search to no avail. Thanks
