Hey, new to the site but not to car audio and the forums. Im LoudBlazer on all the big time forums. Im not big time tho but hope to be. Ive built many of systems some loud some not so loud but all had one thing in common. THE WERE ALL CHEAP lol. Im a big cheapo lol. Im glad im part of the forum here now tho.

Hello All!!! I`m super excited to be part of this great forum. I`m looking forward to learn about car audio and such. I would love if some if you guys give me some recommendations on what kind of set-up to get. I have the factory setup on my 2005 Acura TSX I was looking to upgrade such system if possible at all. I was thinking of adding an amplifier and maybe a subwoofer to start. I currently have a $700 budget that can be used towards upgrading the audio on my car. Thanks for your help.

I have been searching for a forum now for quite a while that can help me with my many questions. This seems like the place to be out of all of the other choices. Brand new on the forum here. Been lurking a bit since I ordered my DCON and decided to become official. I'm not totally new to the car audio world having had several set ups in the past, but not an expert by any means. Took a several year hiatus and getting interested again. Current ride is a 2003 Audi a4 avant. Ordered a 10" DCON a few weeks ago and getting excited to receive it. The sub will be getting 3 different boxes, starting with an ideal sealed MDF enclosure, then a close to ideal ported MDF enclosure. Probably ending up in my first attempt at a glass enclosure which will most likely be sealed. I am a guy who really, really needs my cargo space so the MDF enclosur…

In reference to a previous post about 2 Fi BTL18's. My max outer demension are 42 wide x 36 tall x 26 deep. This would be a wall enclosure in the back of a mini-suv. I want to mount the 2 18's on the 42x36 wall. I figured that the box would have enough ft3 but will the 42x36 be enough wood area to mount the 2 subs and have room for a port. The subs would have to mount side by side on the 42 and the port would go above them. I'm afraid that the holes are going to be so big that there won't be any wood left for support

Hello All, I would like to tell everyone hi and i hope i have some good experiences here. My project vehicle is a 1995 Nissan 200SX Coupe. Currently the entire system was stripped out to make way for new. Hopefully it will be hitting SPL competitions next year. I'm not new to car audio, but i am here to learn, listen and find new and better ways to do things.

I forgot to do this, and started spewing my opinions all over the place. But I was confused because the sticky said "dont go around announcing your a newb" which I'm kinda doing right now. Hopefully some of you recognize the name though, I post all over the place. I also hope people realize I'm not a newb in the way that I might not know what I'm saying or talking about (should be apparent with what I say) but I'm just new here. I generally say when I dont have exact knowledge, but everything else is founded on logic. Any questions?

Hay guys i got two questions about my setup. 2011 f150 with factory charging system with extra 1000 cca marine batterie "not a audio battery". I'm running 2 sae1500d amp on 4 sa15 subs. They are the rev3's and are 2ohm coil's. I am running the amps seperat gain matched "to the best of my ability" and I'm at . 5 ohms at each amp not counting rise. I have the rear seat out and built a good sturdy enclosure that's sealed good with a port that's tuned to 35 hertz. I'm over the recommend size on the enclosure I know at 19 cubes total shared air space but i did that do to the fact that i wasn't running very big setup on the amps, i know there getting the rated rms power but i a…
