Shout out to Gary [banginALTIMA], Jacob, Paul [12-12's in Cherokee], and my homie Rowshard who introduced me to Fi Audio. Fi is on another level as far as sound quality and sound pressure go. I've heard all kind of subs - Kicker, Memphis Audio, JL Audio, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer, MTX... and to be honest, those are good subs, but Fi, RE, SSA, and Sundown subs are...well you have to hear and FEEL them to really get an impression of them. I’ve been here but inactive for some time now getting back into the stereo scene. Last system was 4 alpine type r 12s 2 rf prime 1200.1d Amps 2 offbrand agm 74ah batteries along with a optima red top in my old srt8 charger. Now I have a second gen Durango and no longer am concerned with weight reduction I’m trying to put a small but good setup in and am leaning towards the Skar rp 1200.1 d due to the fact I was considering the rp1500.1d but it falls short on the dyno where the 1200.1d really shines and does well over rated power. Subs are undecided as of now was thinking power Acoustik gothic 12s massive audio gtx 12s or just going all Skar with either sdr’s Or svr’s.

Hello everyone I read the forum topics and said all newbies have to post in here so here I am. I am on a mission to do a SQ type install in my Trans Am and have been following lots of links to this site and wanted to read more than the opening post I have an Eclipse 7200MKII head unit, this weekend I will be installing a set of Pioneer 720PRS components running active, just made a purchase for 2 FI Q12s D2 subs. My amp currently is a Memphis Belle 16st1300d 5 ch. I will be asking some questions, mainly regarding the subs, box, and amp. So, please be patient if they are seemingly newbie idiot questions. Jman

i just orderd a 15" Q that will be powered with a SoundStream 1500D. will be buliding a box for it in the next few weeks. so ill be around geting info and asking questions along the way. this will be going in a 97 nissan hardbody. i also have a 06 nissan Frontier 4x4 NISMO that ill be installing a system in this summer.

But i just sold my cvxs 15 i had and decided to get 2 Fi BTL18 for the new system and im a hifonics amp guy any help or good power i see that its 2000rms so i will need a good 2 amps power well any help would be good thank you all..

Hey guys this is a great forum,usually I just look around and dont post but figured that I would join in. My first system was a kicker l7 and a kenwood amp probably pushing 4-500 rms. Now I am getting more into audio than ever....right now I have a FI Q 12 and just preordered a sundown sae1200, cant wait to hear what sound quality sounds like.
