Hello all, I am Bill from NH. I used to compete in SPL comps. from the early 90's till about 1999 when my car was total'd by a "friend". I finally have a system again and will be competing in the north east this coming season. I joined this forum to learn what I have missed out on in the last 8 years and (ultimately) to try and help expand the number of competitions in the area. Hey everyone, new guy here from NJ. I've been lurking around here for the past couple of days reading through a wealth of information that is available here. Working on a new system for my '99 F150 extended cab. So far I have: Pioneer Avic D3 DLS M6 components (old magnesium ones) Zapco 750.2 (possibly for a sub amp) KnuKonceptz 1/0 wiring Second Skin Damplifier for doors waiting on delivery. I've been surfing around looking for a new amp for my front components and a new sub.

hey whats up guys im taylor, i currently live in the woodlands texas abuot an hour north of houston, i will however be moving to san antonio in about 10 months, i have a 95 f150 extended cab, its got a 5.0 v8 with a K&N air intake and a SI/SO flowmaster super 40, my stereo: 2 12" kicker cvr's in a prefab ported box tuned to around 38hz, 6x8 pioneer 3 ways in the rear and 6.5 infinity reference in the front and a dual xdma7715 HU w/ ipod hook ups, i look foward to learning as much as i can from you guys

Hi there, I am 17 and do know some about car audio, as I do mod cars. I currently owna 2000 cavalier. I have had 2 systems, and just not yet satisfied with either of them. I am looking for a subwoofer than can handle my Lanzar Vibe 1000 Watt Max amp. I was looking at a FI BL, but i am afraid of clipping. What about a JLW6, they are 400 RMS, right? so i risk blowing it with too much power. What do you recommend me for awesome bass, that i will be satisfied with, without breaking the bank. Thanks!

Hello everyone I read the forum topics and said all newbies have to post in here so here I am. I am on a mission to do a SQ type install in my Trans Am and have been following lots of links to this site and wanted to read more than the opening post I have an Eclipse 7200MKII head unit, this weekend I will be installing a set of Pioneer 720PRS components running active, just made a purchase for 2 FI Q12s D2 subs. My amp currently is a Memphis Belle 16st1300d 5 ch. I will be asking some questions, mainly regarding the subs, box, and amp. So, please be patient if they are seemingly newbie idiot questions. Jman
