I Recently placed an order for a Icon 10" D1 and can not wait for it to be delivered! This sub will be part of a new build i will be doing in my DD (audi A6) so far i have all the wiring needed from knukonceptz and the order for this sub, still need a new HU, and amp to power this bad boy up, and some decent 6.5 comps with a matching amp as well. What's up everyone? Just signed up and looking to get some insight on car audio after being out of the scene for a number of years. I currently have a Toyota FJ Cruiser with a Kenwood DNX8120 HU, Polk Audio SR6500 components, JL Audio co-axials for rear fill, 2-JL 10W3V3's in a Wicked C.A.S. enclosure, Dynamatted fron doors and rear quarters. I am anxiously awaiting the new Zed Leviathan for power.

Hey! I am new to this forum obviously. i came across it through soundsplinter's webpage. I am somewhat of a newbie to car audio. I just got into it about 2 months ago, but I have learned a ton since then. I'm currently running a pair of diamond m6 mkII 10's off a NINe.1 @ 1 ohm in a sealed box. They have awesome sq but they are lacking a little in the spl so I think I am going to upgrade to 2 rl-p 12's or a jl13w7. I probably should just build a ported box first but I found someone that wants to buy my subs for only 50 less than I paid for them. Brand new on the forum here. Been lurking a bit since I ordered my DCON and decided to become official. I'm not totally new to the car audio world having had several set ups in the past, but not an expert by any means. Took a several year hiatus and getting interested again. Current ride is a 2003 Audi a4 avant. Ordered a 10" DCON a few weeks ago and getting excited to receive it. The sub will be getting 3 different boxes, starting with an ideal sealed MDF enclosure, then a close to ideal ported MDF enclosure. just sayin whats up to everyone. im starting my first actual build, nothing special but its gonna be better than last time. a couple years ago i had an eclipse amp ( i think like 300 watts?) and two 12" kicker free airs, ported in a 03 tiburon. it got loud but never hit low... i could get like the first 2 notes in "put on" by jeezy and kanye but nothin after that lol, im sure the amp wasnt fit for it at all but it totaled 50 for the amp and kickers in the prefab box and like 60 for the wiring. it got the job done for the price i guess, it was ok. but i sold the tib, have the kickers in my garage but i just dont even want them. havent got around to attempting a sale to any…

Just checking in. I always visited this forum, and purchased things from the actual store but never signed up. I usually stick to floridaspl and occasionally SMD and ****, but just flipping thru I like thisuch better lol. My current build is 8 ssa zcon 15's in a 2.5:1 4th order. 4 crescendo 5500's, 1 singer 400A alt ( externally regulated, and soon to be two). I am in the process of building an amp rack to fit 20 Xs power d1600's, and somehow try to figure out how the heck I can build a bracket to fit an additional alt.

What's going on. Came across this site and it seems real chill. Been out of car audio for a little while now. Trying to get any type of suggestions for sub, components, and mids/highs amp. I already have a Diamond Audio D5 1200.1, and really only want one sub. Not trying to blow everyone away, more into the SQ aspect, but every once in a while will turn it up and pound.
