I originally started messin with systems when i was about 15 got my first one when i was 16 it was a couple of old school MA audio 10's dont know what series but i thought they were loud running of my PPI. Hey all! I'm glad to be apart of this forum! I am looking to get a new sub woofer. I had a 15" Kicker L5 that died on me. I am looking at the Fi Q but wanted a little advice first. I am looking for a good SQ sub and I ahve heard that the Fi Q is a good one. It will be powered by ZX750.1 which from what I read is a little underrated. The fact that it fried my L5 which is rated at 750w RMS also leads me to believe either the sub was over rated or the amp is under rated. The amp is hooked straight to the battery via a Rockford Fosgate 4 gauge kit. I currently have a cheap auto-zone battery but I will be upgrading to an Optima Yellow top soon.
