Newbie Sign IN

This will be my first time trying to do anything other than just straight swapping speaker for speaker. I have a '96 Jeep Cherokee Sport that i would like to stick a woofer in the "cubby hole" similar to this http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/write-up-97186/ . Except that i would like to avoid spray foam and just fiberglass the cavity. Is this feasible? Would it last? Also I would like to 'glass a replacement panel for the car instead of just hack up the original and hide the woofer. Hello all, New to the forums! My name is chris, I'm from Racine, WI. Awaiting my first FI BL 15 since August 22. I'm getting excited approaching the one month mark. I designed a 5 cuft3 all kerfed ported enclosure and have a hifonics x14 1500.1d "wanted to test this new series" amp 1/0 gauge wire ran to the back and big three upgrade. Gauge dragon volt meter. Will post pics and eventually video of the setup when it's complete based on curiosity.

I'm a 29 year old autobody guy who dabbles in car audio because, hey, i build cars for a living! Not into competing, and was out of the loop for a good chunk of time (i was very into audio back in my HS days) so i'm getting used to the inexpense of massive power, and plethora of drivers to choose from. Currently trying to finish up my system in my 2002 outback daily driver. Debating on sub, because i want to keep things limited in size, because i carry stuff in the back a lot. Also finishing up two classics that are mine, and thus i'm putting sound systems into, though one i intend to just sell, so it's not getting anything great, just the mistake of a purhcase RE USX…

Hello everyone! glad to be here im 33 used to get in alot of trouble changed my life around 3 years ago.. just got my licence back after 8 years and just got back into car audio.. i love this stuff!! keeps me busy and my mind of things.. i wasted alot of money in the best months on cheap ishhh.. im starting a new system now,.. in october my new subs will come so i have a few months to get things ready! i just got two new sundownsa 10's 2 months ago but thats not enough.. lol so im in the process of selling my current setup to start fresh.. so we will see where this new setup will take me!! thanks guys!

Been reading (lurking)for almost a year but searches dont answer EVERY question right! I love in houston and work in midland so needles to say my system takes a beating for about 7 hours strait! I currently own a 12' Jeep Wrangler Rubi 2 door with soft top. My gear consist of two sets of mid 90's Rockford 6.5 components powered by a Arc Audio ks 300.4, 2 Arc Audio ks 1000.1's strapped to 4 SQ HDS 208's in a High Output Enclosure. Buck knows how to build an enclosure and is fast doing it.
