Hey, I'm an old retired dB Dragger that followed Nick Wright and the Incriminator Audio guys over here. I have been away from car audio for a few years now and was doing some research for a friend that wants me to do his install. Glad I found this place...what better company than a bunch of people that think just like me! I like the forums appearance and so far have seen alot of helpful information being exchanged. Hey I just signed up since I just bought a 12" Q yesterday. I look forward to getting it in and seeing how it sounds in my blazer. I usually am more of a lurker but still occasionally post up with questions and answers. Nice site you have here.

Hi all,not new to car audio,been into it for over 20 years. The family came along and u know that ment car audio on the downlo. Now the kids are grown and out of the house so back in i want to go.i have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited and would like any help u can give me on setting up a good front sound stage. Volume is nice but looking more for SQ,looking at polk audio speakers,but open to other ideas,want to go with 2 12inch subs in a sealed box . Ps the complete stock speakers,amp and head unit have to go!lol

My Skar vvx 10 came in Thursday. I installed it in a 1.25 ported box tuned to 30 hz. It sounds great. Much better than the e5.19 I had. It couldn't handle the JL Audio 500 I use. The Skar lets me bring the amp up to the point that it puts out its max power before clipping. I was running it a quarter turn less to keep from blowing the e5.10 I'll break it in & see how it sounds.
