just stopping by here for some friendly help, giving or recieving been in car audio for about 3 years now and love every minute of it, especially last summer killing people at the local competition with 8s, they got so mad at me i got labeled a cheater for it, hehe, and now i got rli-8s coming to replace my re8s so ill be even harder to beat *insert evil laughter here*

Just figured id introduce myself. Im John. Im 17 years old. I have a 2003 civic si. I have a bunch of stuff done to it but my audio upgrades right now are a Jensen VM9512, infinity kappa 6 1/2s, Kicker 15" L708 and a 1200watt rms hifonics amp. Im upgrading to a pioneer F90BT this weekend and a 12" Fi BL soon. I will post pics. Just figured id introduce myself. Anyone else on here from jersey?

What's going on. Came across this site and it seems real chill. Been out of car audio for a little while now. Trying to get any type of suggestions for sub, components, and mids/highs amp. I already have a Diamond Audio D5 1200.1, and really only want one sub. Not trying to blow everyone away, more into the SQ aspect, but every once in a while will turn it up and pound. Whats up guys? I've always had a car stereo system, just the basic mainstream stuff and here lately I've been really getting into the unknown brands of car audio. Unknown where I live anyways. I just acquired anightshade 18 and am going to purchase another one and see how long it takes to beat my truck to death. I'm not here to pretend like I know it all or anything like that, I'm here to learn from the best! Please school the youngster guys. Hi all, new to the site. Just got interested in car audio so my wife and I could listen to our mp3 players during our daily commute. Now I'm hooked and I'm in the process of building a decent system for my car. So far I've got a JCV-KDS100 headunit (a little underwhelmed with that now) and some Phoenix Gold RSD65cs components up front (very impressed with those). Currently in the process of buying an amp for the front stage, then maybe something for rear fill...and if I can hide it from my wife...perhaps a subwoofer in the near future. Great to be here, I've already learned a ton before even posting this.

I have been a long time audio enthusiast but always went with the prepackaged systems. Did lots of research a few years ago and finally designed my own system. Now looking for some upgrades and was hoping to take advantage of some of the expertise available on these forums. Thanks

I just wanted to say hi, i have used fi subs in the past im back using them .I just placed my order for a 15 inch D-2 ssd with copper coils.The subs goin in a box tune to 35 Hz, sub up ports back. what u guys think of the tuning for this sub?

Yeah title says it all, I am a member over at CA.com and am disappointed that they don't allow group buys or dealers and stuff like that so I have registered over here. :domoslay: I am also hoping that this site is a little more serious than CA.

Hey! I am new to this forum obviously. i came across it through soundsplinter's webpage. I am somewhat of a newbie to car audio. I just got into it about 2 months ago, but I have learned a ton since then. I'm currently running a pair of diamond m6 mkII 10's off a NINe.1 @ 1 ohm in a sealed box. They have awesome sq but they are lacking a little in the spl so I think I am going to upgrade to 2 rl-p 12's or a jl13w7. I probably should just build a ported box first but I found someone that wants to buy my subs for only 50 less than I paid for them.
