why cant i start a thread in the competition section? my friend owns a shop in beloit and i told him id put the word out that theres gonna be a usaci event there so id like to start a thread in the comp section but i cant for some reason... does it have to do with me being new or something?

Names Blake and just joined today. Hope to learn a few things here and there while at the same time helping others out. Just ordered a FI BTL 15" and a Hifonics Brutus BXI2008D to give it the juice and bought a prefab box just as temporary enclosure until i can order the other BTL and Brutus amp to make a custom box. hey guys just got onto this forum and just bought one Fi btl 12 dual 2... what would be the best amp for this sub. and when it says 2krms does that mean thats as hight as i can go with rms or can i go higher...please explain to me how high can i push this bad boy

Well hello im matthew and im new too this forum and not new to car audio. First of all im working on getting a car then il work on either a 15 inch subwoofer or an 18 or just cheap 3 or 4 15's if i feel crazy enough. i currently own a 9500 mtx 15 inch subwoofer super loud very violent but thats only off a simple 4 channel amp that is a classic puts out power and its all power from four power supplys. Also trying to get a monoblock or class D amplifier to power my mtx for temp till i get something better and im looking at buying one or two Incriminator or fi or DC subs cant make up my mind and its very difficult!

Hi all, new to the site. Just got interested in car audio so my wife and I could listen to our mp3 players during our daily commute. Now I'm hooked and I'm in the process of building a decent system for my car. So far I've got a JCV-KDS100 headunit (a little underwhelmed with that now) and some Phoenix Gold RSD65cs components up front (very impressed with those). Currently in the process of buying an amp for the front stage, then maybe something for rear fill...and if I can hide it from my wife...perhaps a subwoofer in the near future. Great to be here, I've already learned a ton before even posting this.

hey im woody. im from a small town in arkansas. ive had a couple Blaupunkt 10s for about 2 years and finally decided to upgrade. Ive got a mach5 audio 18" in a sealed box. its the loudest around here, most kids around here have barely heard of an 18" much less seen one so i thought id show everybody round here what one looked like. thats about it.

I drive a 96 accord sedan, its basically just a beater until I get out of college in a year and buy something nice. I'm looking to put a new headunit, and a sub in it. Currently it is all stock. So I'm looking for recommendations on a basic headunit (under 200? is that realistic?) that can just play cds and also an ipod. I've been looking at subs and amps also, in particular the FI Q 10 or 12. What amp would you guys recommend with these subs? I was wondering if Fi's RE sx recone (or PSI's standard 12-spoke basket with recone stuff) will work for a newer RE sex or sxx with the black (stupid looking) baskets. i want to turn my sex 10's into decent-looking 12's but want to be sure it will work before i start on my mission lol.

I got a Jaguar S Type and if you ever seen the trunk in the car it is not very big. I wanted to get one BTL 12 but really don't know if the box will fit built to the minimum specs i need too to a low hz. I need help suggetion or whatever will be appreciated . I am going to put it in competition for spl. I will be pushing it with the US Amp AX2000 which is 2 ohm stable.
