Ported 3.25-4.25 ft^3 @ 29-33hz Ported Optimal 4.25-5.5 ft^3 @ 29-33hz is the optimal ported better? and whats the difference on both? any help would be appreciated

Hi I am new to the audio world and i am needing a little help.I have a 03 neon and I have a orion 25001 mono amp and i am wondering what i have to do to run the amp safely. the amp would be ran at 1ohm and I have a 4ch amp running mids and highs.

Just sayin whuddup, accidently missed this in the rules sorry, not my first post, but oh well. I have a Sundown x 18 on a dc 3.5k @ 2 ohms but pretty soon im gonna sell it and get to Fi sp4 15s and another dc 3.5k in a BHE 4th order, gonna get low...... cant wait

Yeah I just recently got registered and see that there is a wealth of knowledge to be had and can be very useful in picking/designing a sub etc. This is not the first site I registered at, of course. =P Many before.

Well built this Powerwheel for my son to compete in USACi and MidwestSPL competition. I had an old 12" pioneer sub in it but now I am thinking about building a box for an 8" sundown. I have an SA-8 v1 sitting in my garage I am going to play around with. Right now I am using an 10yr old Sony MP70 headunit, along with a 12yrd old American Bass CX-1500 Amplifier. I am building a system and starting off slow. My first purchase as far as amps and subs will be a SAZ-3000 and a Dual 2ohm BTL18. It will be wired at 1ohm for the 3000 rms. I would like to expand on this later with another SAZ-3000 and BLT18 for a combined 6000 rms. I have never strapped 2 amps before and I'm trying to make sure I buy the correct sub to start off with. I understand the impedance for a single amp system but I'm confused as to how it works when you start strapping amps together. What would my impedance be with the two amps strapped and two Dual 2ohm subs? I'm looking for a final 2 ohms since this is what the strapped amps are rated at. This has probably be…

Hello, I have a SAZ1500v3 and I'm curious to hear some opinions/thoughts on the clipping light that's on the bass knob. Do you guys absolutely make sure that your light doesn't flicker what so ever...or will a small amount of flickering not be anything to worry about? My current frustrations are all revolved around this. I feel like my clipping signal is somewhat premature. I drive a 2013 optima SX. Stock HU/alternator/battery under the hood. I was looking for advise. I think I may be interested in a RL-s 12 for my trunk, but reading the specs and recommendations it seems that it will not fit my needs. I want to put it in my 2005 TL without gobbeling up all my trunk space. Should I be leaning more towards a RL-p 12"? Would a RL-p get me good low bass that I'm looking for? Would 2 12" RL-p's do the Job of one RL-s 12" for the same trunk Space? Any recommendations on an AMP to push the 2 RL-p's? I currently have a RF 301s that ain't doing jack for me. If I went with the 2 12" RL-p's would a bandpass box do the trick? Thanks

Hello everyone, I’m Eddie and it’s refreshing to find a helpful and informative car audio forum like yours. I started out in car audio back in 1989 with a pair of 12” MTX Terminators powered by a Fosgate Punch amp with a Clarion head unit and a Clarion EQ. I’ve owned many systems over the years and am now just getting back into car audio. I’m looking forward to learning more about the current brands and technology that’s come out the last few years while getting to know everyone here.
