Hi, my name is Randy. um. i'm an aspiring car audio enthusiast. I like the SPL world most. I do all the work on my truck and some cheapskate installs for friends that i can't convince to spend more then 300 on a subwoofer install. lol i just got MECP certified. be expecting a build log as soon as my 15" FI BL gets in, in a week or so. and i build a 3.3 cube 33hz enclosure for my zx1500.1 in my f-150. and build brackets for my type R components. I just bought my truck so i'm in the middle of putting everything in it. Thanks for the welcome Randy

Heard alot of different opinions on RE's box calculator heard it was off and not accurate but than heard that no matter what you do the tune will never be ACCURATE, which to believe i really have no clue. I am currently in the process of building a new box for my single 12" Cadence ZRS and looking for a new amp that does 900-1300rms at 2ohm, class D monoblock, kinda stiff and cheap on the price of 220 or less depends what it is and i might be able to do more. But back to the box , i have one planned out with RE's box calculator its 2.5cf prob will be less after displacement since im not sure how much to account for, for 45 degree angles and so forth, but id like a nice b…

Hi Everyone !! It's been about 10 years or so since I've been in the Car Audio game. I used to run Fosgate and AVI stuff when I was younger ( I'm not old by any means) I moved to Home Theatre for the last while but I am now getting back to the Good Stuff I've met with 3 installers in my area, 1 of which I remember was around a long time ago. The vehicle is a Saturn Vue. We have decided on Focal/Audison setup with their Clarion DXZ945MP Unit to round it out. Either the Polyglass 6.5 Components or the K2P in the front along with an Access or Polyglas 13" in the rear custom boxed, all run by the Audison LRx 4.300. Yup, another squid... but a damn good looking one. I just bought an '05 4Runner and am halfway through a helluva quality budget build. Scion T1809 HU, MB Quart components/coaxials... and looking for a budget monster 8" sub. I've pretty much decided on a RL-i8 at around .4cuft, but am also looking at an Orphan8... $50 is $50 after all.
