Wow, I barely remember joining this forum a year ago. I believe I came here to look up some information on Mach5 Audio who regretfully is no longer here. Anyhow, this has to be a world record between my forum join date and my first post.

hey all. Well, signed up on here a while ago, and haven't really posted. Well, I'm working midnights right now and thought I'd take the time to finally get back into it. As for about me/my vehicle/set up. Right now, I am running: Head Unit: Alpine cda-7998 (love it, phenomenal and does everything I could ask) mids/highs: Clarion SRS-1686 component set (6.5" midbass woven glass cone, 3/4" tweeter silk dome)(very impressed, but then, my ears like the sound of woven glass fiber cones...) Subwoofers: currently (2) clarion SW 1251 12" (single 4 ohm VC, 350 watts RMS) Enclosure: 4 cubic foot net dual slot ported tuned to 32 Hz, common chamber (built in two hours, while the lit…

Whats up guys? I've always had a car stereo system, just the basic mainstream stuff and here lately I've been really getting into the unknown brands of car audio. Unknown where I live anyways. I just acquired anightshade 18 and am going to purchase another one and see how long it takes to beat my truck to death. I'm not here to pretend like I know it all or anything like that, I'm here to learn from the best! Please school the youngster guys. Anyways thought I'd make my presence known and say hi to everybody.

Hi all, new to the site. Just got interested in car audio so my wife and I could listen to our mp3 players during our daily commute. Now I'm hooked and I'm in the process of building a decent system for my car. So far I've got a JCV-KDS100 headunit (a little underwhelmed with that now) and some Phoenix Gold RSD65cs components up front (very impressed with those). Currently in the process of buying an amp for the front stage, then maybe something for rear fill...and if I can hide it from my wife...perhaps a subwoofer in the near future. Great to be here, I've already learned a ton before even posting this.

Hello to all...I am sure I will bump into some of you guys from other forums, I frequent caraudio.com and ocassionally carstereos.org. I am originally from South FL, now live in VA. Been into car audio for nearly 20 years now. I am a flooring contractor by trade, have had my own business for about 8 years now. Wood is my main medium and as such I have more tools for box building than God, so if anybody local needs help with a build just let me know. I look forward to getting to know some of you, Paul

I have been a long time audio enthusiast but always went with the prepackaged systems. Did lots of research a few years ago and finally designed my own system. Now looking for some upgrades and was hoping to take advantage of some of the expertise available on these forums. Thanks

Hey, I'm new here not to 12 volt electronics. I worked for ten years in the industry way back when I was 18-28. I worked for a few shops installing then eventually sales and then wholesale sales. I put a few point driven db drag shows back when it was called "USAC", Anyway I have decided to compete in spl again using fi subs. I had a couple of competition car's from the 90's, a buick regal with 12-12"s hifonics warrior's and two son of colossus amps(ZED Audio) and did a wopping 148 lol. I had a 93 probe with 8-12" Ground zero nuclear on 4 rockford punch 800's that did 149. I couldnt seem to break the 150 barrier as all those boxes were sealed as well and I think definitel…
