Been looking around for a good car audio forum and figured I'd settle down here =D I've been dabbling on and off of car audio for the past 5 years but I have yet to learn the real mechanics of it. So anyways nice to meet you all.

Well, I was a lurker, and light user before, but I think I will take a better look at SSA I' am from SMD, and I guess I'am tired of seeing the same faces with the same comments over there, so I'am here now I'am a big audio enthusiast, been installing mobile audio since 96'ish, did 4-5 years of speaker assembly, design, and prototyping. I currently do a lot of reconing, and speaker modifications

My father owned and operated a local car audio store in my area for over 15 years so I lived my teenage years working in car audio which was great now looking for some subs with a little education behind it. Hello to all! This is my first post and I'd like to get some info (please). I've a 2007 Subaru Forester that I plan on having a system installed and have some questions concerning the install. The system will consist of Tru amps, t03-250.2 (for sub) & t03-4.150 (for front tweets & mids). HU will be Clarion DRZ-9255. The speaks will be either Hybrid Audio Referernce or Seas Reference. Anyway, here are the questions & pardon me, I know only enough about installs to start a fire. 1-Are the DRZ-9255 crossovers active & do I need outbord crossovers? 2-Is there such a thing as a sub that can/will compliment the seas or Hybrid drivers? 3. I have a 99' 4-door blazer HU - kdc-x990 components - Polk MMC6500 amp for components - Alpine PDX-2.150(spose to be here 6/13) And as far as the substage i will be able to order it within the next month. Im looking to buy some Fi subs so i thought i would register.. currently i have a clarion duz385sat head unit; a 300 watt jbl amp, a 1000 watt crunch amp, and a 2000 watt volfenhag amp; 2 selenium horns; 2 selenium 6" door speakers; and 2 15'' kicker cvr's.. but i hate my cvr's! anyways, nice to meet you all!!

I just wanted to say hi, i have used fi subs in the past im back using them .I just placed my order for a 15 inch D-2 ssd with copper coils.The subs goin in a box tune to 35 Hz, sub up ports back. what u guys think of the tuning for this sub?
