Hey guys, I'm brand new to the car audio world and am looking for a system that can pound as a daily driver. I've already decided to run 2 15" N2 BTL's but am unsure on what to power them and what alt/batts to back them up. I've read a lot of forums and the DC 3.5k amp looks good plus its 15% as a presale. I was thinking of having a 320a DC power alt with an XS D975 up front and a D3100 in back, all wired 1/0 with big three. Will my system run well? and if not, what can i do to make sure i supply enough power to amp and that the amp is a good fit? BTW, budget is in $2500-$3k range Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a new member of the site, but I've been trolling for quite a while. I have a system in the works consisting of two True bass solutions 8" subs (when they arrive) and a sundown SAE-1000D. I've got about 150-200 bucks for some good 6.5" comps so if you've got any suggestions, post them up!

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My system in my 00 sunfire is currently just cheap Duals from best buy, but have plans to upgrade it, which is why I joined this forum. I have a lot to learn and hope I learn a lot here. What makes me want to upgrade most is sitting in my friends grand am with just one 10" Alpine Type X. The Duals have been my first system and when upgrading I'm pretty much looking at going all out with, with a ton of bass, but still retaining good sound quality. My name is Justin, I am 23 years old and I am pretty much a newbie on this forum as said under my name, I have been in the Car audio industry for quite sometime and I love it even though it is very additive. Hi i'm new from UK

I am building a system and starting off slow. My first purchase as far as amps and subs will be a SAZ-3000 and a Dual 2ohm BTL18. It will be wired at 1ohm for the 3000 rms. I would like to expand on this later with another SAZ-3000 and BLT18 for a combined 6000 rms. I have never strapped 2 amps before and I'm trying to make sure I buy the correct sub to start off with. I understand the impedance for a single amp system but I'm confused as to how it works when you start strapping amps together. What would my impedance be with the two amps strapped and two Dual 2ohm subs? I'm looking for a final 2 ohms since this is what the strapped amps are rated at. This has probably be…

Hello all, From new york here. Everyone told me fi was better then memphis but i have some questions to be answered. i guess i could ask them here seeming this is my first post... right? Okay, So i have a 2001 jetta, i dont know how big my trunk is and i suck at math. I was orignally going to get 2 12's btl but everyone told me that i would neeed to upgrade my alternator and the big 3. is this true? so my other option was to go with the 2 12's BL, but i dont know if i would still need to upgrade anything electrical. but either way, i would perfer to get the btl but dont have enough money to get a new alternator and the big 3 okay, now either way if i were to go with the b…

hey new here, I just finished the install on my single cab truck. I'm running two 10" Fi Q's in a ported box tuned to 36hrz and a Hifonics BXI 2006D amp. My head unit is a Pioneer AVH D4000 DVD. I think it turned out alright. I'm looking at components right now probably Premier or Focal with Fosgate amp. I'll get some pics up for you guys shortly. Ryan
