Just thought I'd introduce myself. My system in my 00 sunfire is currently just cheap Duals from best buy, but have plans to upgrade it, which is why I joined this forum. I have a lot to learn and hope I learn a lot here. What makes me want to upgrade most is sitting in my friends grand am with just one 10" Alpine Type X. The Duals have been my first system and when upgrading I'm pretty much looking at going all out with, with a ton of bass, but still retaining good sound quality. At this point I don't really know what to look for, I don't really have a set budget. If I think somethings worth the extra cash, I'll buy it. The 15" Rockford Fosgate T2's are pretty expensive,…

Hey, I'm new here not to 12 volt electronics. I worked for ten years in the industry way back when I was 18-28. I worked for a few shops installing then eventually sales and then wholesale sales. I put a few point driven db drag shows back when it was called "USAC", Anyway I have decided to compete in spl again using fi subs. I had a couple of competition car's from the 90's, a buick regal with 12-12"s hifonics warrior's and two son of colossus amps(ZED Audio) and did a wopping 148 lol. I had a 93 probe with 8-12" Ground zero nuclear on 4 rockford punch 800's that did 149. I couldnt seem to break the 150 barrier as all those boxes were sealed as well and I think definitel…

I'm a new member of the site, but I've been trolling for quite a while. I have a system in the works consisting of two True bass solutions 8" subs (when they arrive) and a sundown SAE-1000D. I've got about 150-200 bucks for some good 6.5" comps so if you've got any suggestions, post them up!

My father owned and operated a local car audio store in my area for over 15 years so I lived my teenage years working in car audio which was great now looking for some subs with a little education behind it. hey new here, I just finished the install on my single cab truck. I'm running two 10" Fi Q's in a ported box tuned to 36hrz and a Hifonics BXI 2006D amp. My head unit is a Pioneer AVH D4000 DVD. I think it turned out alright. I'm looking at components right now probably Premier or Focal with Fosgate amp. I'll get some pics up for you guys shortly. Ryan

Found this place from the other forums I lurk at. Do alot of reading mostly, not a whole lot of posting yet. Getting back into the scene after a 6yr layout. Should be getting the 1st of 2 SAZ-1500D's that I have planned for a new system tomorrow in the mail. So later on I will probably post alot more.
