I've been on the **** and ca forums for quite some time and LOVE car audio. my current setup is as follow: HU (JVC Chameleon) 4 Chan. I would like to introduce myself, I'm Nick from Houston. First, thanks for making an incredible place for someone like myself to learn and discuss audio. I found sundown and that's what led me here. I'm a DIY person but don't have quite as much knowledge as I should and would like to educate myself with the goal of reducing my mistakes. Car audio has changed quite a bit. My last system was 2 used 12's and amp installed in a 91 eagle talon back in high school. Oh, I also had tweeter stuck to the pillars completing my "system". I drive a nissan titan and am currently running a sundown e10v2 off a PPI BK1800.1D(I know overkill. lol) and sky high audio wiring. I plan to upgrade to an SSA Xcon 12" here very soon. Hi guys, I am also a member of the SMD forum and decided I'd like to join this forum also. I drive a Buick Lesabre and run 1 Fi Q 12, powered by a CT Sounds AT1400.1. CT Sounds Meso 6.5" components powered by a CT Sounds 60.4. 1/0 Ga Execution Audio cables/wire, XS Power D3400 battery with stock 140 amp alt. Also use a Alpine HD149BT head unit. Fi Q lives in a ported box (Built by Sound Mekanix Customs) tuned 32-33hz. Just here to sit back relax and gain some knowledge. Thanks guys.

member on **** and SMD thought id come over here and see how people are over here. history to current system. first system was 2 12 MTX thunder 4000s on a TIS T510pk 5 channel. was in a Small prefab. then built a 5.5 cuf tuned to 32hz. was in a 96 s10 blazer Then I bought a 99 Pontiac grand prix GT 4dr. bought 2 SQ HDS212s and a Q1200 for it. Traded the hds212s for a sa8v2. but bought a Incriminator LI12 first to put in the HDS212s place. Traded the 96 blazer for a 94 grand prix 2dr. Used to have a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect 12's wired to 1ohm on a kicker zr240, had an old ppi amp running my mb quartz components all in a 94' honda accord 4 door back in high school many years ago (well 12). Since then life and family got in the way. Haven't had any kind of "system" since, got the bug a few months ago to get something again and well...here I am. Hello, I have a SAZ1500v3 and I'm curious to hear some opinions/thoughts on the clipping light that's on the bass knob. Do you guys absolutely make sure that your light doesn't flicker what so ever...or will a small amount of flickering not be anything to worry about? My current frustrations are all revolved around this. I feel like my clipping signal is somewhat premature. I drive a 2013 optima SX. Stock HU/alternator/battery under the hood.
