Hello everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Alaska, been here for a year. I drive a nissan titan and am currently running a sundown e10v2 off a PPI BK1800.1D(I know overkill. lol) and sky high audio wiring. I plan to upgrade to an SSA Xcon 12" here very soon. Hey everyone... been into car stereos since i was about 17, am now 22, be 23 in april. worked at the circuit city roadshop when i was 18, learned how to do the basic installs and alarms. never got into custom stuff, but have done fairly large system installs in my day. I drive a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 2wd regular cab automatic, I have done everything myself, notched the frame, raised the gas tank, lowered, welded the roll pan, tailgate handle, antenna, hood squirters, put a 2004 front clip on(core support, everything), painted the truck myself also, it was my first time doing all of this. hello everybody ! new to the site.. hoping toget lotsof help building my system... i have had a 05 f150 fx4 extendedcab for over a year , i currently have a jl audio 13tw5 powered by a jl audio500/1 v1 amp and a double din pioneer also a yellow top otima.... anyways i need more bass! but im lacking the space and i want to keep it daily driven, so im building a box in the center console i have arround 4.5cubes to play with... i decided to go with a 15" fi btl (ported duh) and a sundownaudio saz 2000d( already have them) i already did the big3... should i get a second battery in the back? i just found out Optima's sucks ! bigger alternator ?? i got 4ga wire rite now…

Hi guys please can you assist I have a Isuzu super cab with one 12 inch dvc sub. My bass sounds better with the doors open. What could cause this? How can I fix this. I have tried a slot port box and a ported box. Same result . What next ?

Hello everyone, I’m Eddie and it’s refreshing to find a helpful and informative car audio forum like yours. I started out in car audio back in 1989 with a pair of 12” MTX Terminators powered by a Fosgate Punch amp with a Clarion head unit and a Clarion EQ. I’ve owned many systems over the years and am now just getting back into car audio. I’m looking forward to learning more about the current brands and technology that’s come out the last few years while getting to know everyone here.

Hi , Well I'm from The Netherlands , Car-Audio is a hobby of mine for over 10 years now , specifically the low end gets al lot of attention and I've made MANY sub enclosures . Hello everyone, I am just getting back in to car audio after 18 years . I have a 95 Accord Wagon that I am slowly building. Most of my equipment is from the mid to late 90s lol. I was a Kicker fan boy back then. Here is what I currently own, HeadUnit- Pioneer DEH-P9200 Subs- 12 NIB 10" Kicker Solo Barics (old round c series and d series) Components- 6.5 Kicker Resolution Series. Only item installed is the Pioneer Headunit. Big 3 is done and have ran 1/0 to the trunk.

Hi guys i have all sorts of problems,1st where to start. my OHIO alternator does lousy at keeping the charge to my 4 xs 2700s, i have 2 runs of 0 gauge from the front battery to the back, 2 grnd and 2 positives, big 3 in 0 gauge,my amp will play about 5 min then shut off, then play 1 min and shut off and so on downhill. back when i had 2 orion 15s amp never shut off, same set up diff subs. now that i got 2 18 SMDs i think they are too hungry for power the amp is 9000w rms 13.8 volts. alternator is 14.0 when cold 13.4 warm then music goes and so does the voltage12.8 max. someone said to get a smaller pulley OHIO sent me one with 6 grooves mine is 8, DC power makes a dual …

Hello, before i begin my article I wanted to list out all the specs, measurements of everything i wanted to put in this car. To tell you I'm only 16 and i'll be getting my drivers licence soon and I wanted to put a system in right when i get this car. Electrical specs: I would be having everything from battery to alternator that was already put there during the manufactor process. So 1 200-300 volt hour battery with a regular stock alternator. I will be buying 1/0 gauge wires going from the front to the back for the amp. A fuse holder that runs from the battery to the amp.
