whats up guys, been a member for a little time but never posted anything... Anyways, i'm a full time college student and getting back into car audio after a few year absence. Right now i have a JL Audio 12w6v2 in a sealed box powered by a JL 250/1, some VR 6.5 components that are in the stock locations and a RF 200.2... I'm ok with them but i'm looking at getting some Sundown equipment to play with sooner rather than later. sorry for the long winded hello

Haaaay everyone! I've missed this board probably the most out of all the ones I abandoned in the last 8 months or so. I've been super busy with life and work and Argentina and cars getting wrecked, stolen and bought.. But here I am again. Call me a jerk for not posting all of my feelings on the internet as they happen, but hey, what are you gonna do. So to make a VERY long story short. I was in Beunos Aires for almost 4 months. Came back to Arizona in January. Got lost in work, got a raise. Got my Civic stolen, rented a Pontica for 34days. Bought a BRIGHT RED 2005 Toyota Tacoma today and quite obviously, got the itch to do something with the music situation. So I'm back. …

I've been a member here for awhile, but I had not visited or posted very often. That will be changing. For those of you who don't know me, I am a 28 year + veteran in and around the car audio industry, and I have worn virtually every hat to be worn. As much as I love car audio as a serious hobby, I have grown weary of the industry as a profession. In short, there are much better ways to conduct business, especially in the competitve car audio "sound off" arena. A better way has been created: Car Audio Tournament of Champions™ (CATOC™) The CATOC™ "preseason" is starting this month in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. The Car Audio Tournament of Champions™ (CATOC™) star…

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say hi and I'm glad to be a part of the community. I am from Louisville, KY. Are there many people from my area on the site? I came to this site because I am looking for a set of 12"s. Digital Designs 9512s Cascade Omegas Audio Pulse Axis FI BTLs I would also be interested in any other subs that you all think would handle between 2000 - 2500rms a piece. They need to be either D1s or D4s so I can wire them to 1 ohm to run off my Z1A. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Getting back into car audio after a lengthy absence. The only thing I remember about my last stereo (15+ years ago) was the MB Quart components. I've since become a computer nerd, but I think I still have the chops to put together a modest system for my 2002 Toyota 4Runner. P.S. Oh yeah, and saying hi from Westminster, MD.

Jim from CA, been on here for somethime and was on longer, but for some reason had to re-register. Anyway, just saying hi and will be looking for some help and opinions on how to best hook up my stuff in the future. It will be going in a 1970 Chevy Blazer I'm sloowly but surely restoring and will be putting a system in it sometime down the road. So far, I have aquired speakers for it little by little and now will concentrate on looking how to configure them around the new Zed Audio amps, and figure out which ones to purchase as budget permits.

Hiiii, im building a sub box for a ascendant mayhem, but RE calc is wayyy off.. So I was wondering if i could get some help with someone so i can get the understanding of doing this so i dont have to have help again. PLEASE. The Mayhem is single 12", and in ported can only be in 1.75cf - 3cf. And sub displacement i know nothing of which i do and this is confusing i have 2 sheets of plywood ready to be drawn on, all going to be 1.5" thick unless you think otherwise? Was thinking around 25-35 wide, 15-17" high, 18" deep but the hertz from torres, 12 volt, and RE are all different and confuse me! Could someone make up a thing for me that would work prime around 2-3 cubic ft …
