Been out of the big time car audio loop for a little over 10 years, so I guess I am reliving my childhood again. lol I was fortunate enough to have company cars for the past 10 years and my car audio has been pretty modest. Components in the front doors and an Infinity bass link under the seat was my last set up. Not great, but better than factory full range. Well unfortunately the company car deal is over and now it's time to do things right. Luckily, I still have some Fosgate Power amps in perfect condition I can still use. new to the whole car audio world. im 17 and have started my first build its a 1991 mustang convertible with kenwood h.u exceleon . 3 1/2 infinty references, 5 1/4 infinty refernce, and 6x8 pioneer 3 way. next up is a sub ehtier a 12" fi ssd or Q

Whats good, I'm new here and to the whole car audio thing as well. Been browsing these forums for a bit and just recently decided to register lol. Currently getting a 15" Fi BL and would like to have the build done before the end of this month. I posted in the Fi section if you guys know the answers to any of my questions which would be awesome. I'm 18 and a broke college student haha so I cant afford to screw the build up. Will get something better of course when i get the money but the Fi BL will do for now. I'll definitely be a part of these forums, as i'm obsessed with all of this already. Good to be here.

Hey SSA! I've been searching around for a good car audio forum for a while and I think I just found it! I'm new to the car audio world. I've been doing A LOT of research for about 2 months so I'm not completely ignorant on the topic. I live in Guatemala City and here there are not a lot of "experts" in car audio so I have resorted to sites like these to learn. Well, I already have a lot of questions so im gonna post those up and hopefully will be able to help someone on their quest for the perfect system. Cheers!

I'm a newbie to this forum... I'm on diy and ca.com with the same name. I'm in the market for some new subs and I've been hearing so much about Fi Audio that I had to stop by and see what it was all about. I currently have some brand new IDQ V2's that I was planning on using but now I see the X's going for 1/2 of what I paid for the IDQ's... how do you guys think these compare?

I got 4 Memphis subwoofers in a box and I have no clue what their wattage is in order to buy a amp. What should I do? I'd hate to buy amp and have the subs under powered or to much power and blow em...

hey everyone im here from nebraska, after lurking the forum so much i decided to sign up. Mainly the reason im here is because my interest in building my system for a single cab truck with sundown audio sa8s. Im not a total noob to car audio but i know my basics to get by (lol), but i wanna learn some more so thats why im here.

What's up guys, I'm a newb To this site and thought Id say hi, I'm Looking for a reputable shop to rebuild my audio in my car.... The last shop that worked on my car really screwed me over... Pretty much jacked my money.... And they didn't even know what Hybrid audio was :/ So if you Guys have had any experience with any shops that you will like to reccomend .... Please let me know bc I'm tired of dealing with these Micky mouse shops that just want the money and forget about the quality I'm located in 90660 Thanks

I want a sub that has good sound quality so i was looking at the FI Q but i also want a sub that can hit hard as well... this is going in the trunk of a honda civic and im shooting for a size 15 maybe 2 15 but im not sure if 2 can fit in the trunk.... can anybody help me on considering good components... wats goin on...checkin in from newark, nj currently have 2 pioneer 12's on a 800w classD mono, though one is blown i was hittin around 136 (never officially meterd) im going for some serious bang next...its looking like im prob gna be getting DC4s w/ 5 coils (2) 18" ported on 3ksundown with 1800dc batt in back for now... ultimately lookin for a sponsorship but who knows...i drive a 05 trailblazer and iv seen/hear these gettin around 153 on music as a dd (my buddys) and thats my goal just lack of full funding as a college student that should be good for now
