Hi DC, a few weeks ago I ordered a 270XP alt through Robbie and then about a week and a half ago I called him back up and found out it had been ship the day prior. Right now I'm just wondering if I can get a tracking number for the shipment just to see where it's at. My name is Chaise Cooper and the order was for a 2007 Scion tC - shipping to Magnolia, DE. Thanks in advanced.

Does anyone know why dc has changed there pricing? Im not complaining or anything just want to know why. I was gonna order the 270xp for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 and have been saving the money. Almost had enough which was 499.99 and go on there tonight and see that they now jumped the price up to 629.99. Sucks cause now its gonna be even longer before i get it just wanted to at least have a reason for the price jump.

I was browsing your site and saw that past 2006 you only have alternators listed for the Escalade. Is there anything available for the DTS? I'm going to be adding a lot more power to my system in the next few months and will need an electrical to back it up.

hey whats up guys, ok so im deciding on ordering an alt soon because im going to bump up to 2k watts and wont happen on a stock 70a alt. so my question is mostly for rob or kyle. If i were to order your biggest alt for an 05 civic which is the 180hp does it come with everything i need to install it and get it running? Iv seen some people having to get brackets ordered for their trucks and cars but will this be my case? I have no idea what i will need or wont need so any info on this would really help my decision. If it doesnt come with everything i need to get it running then what will i need? Thanks guys

I sent you a PM back in May with my address for you to send me a larger pulley for my 180HP alt because of suspected belt slip. I have not heard from you or anyone else. Did you get this PM? Thanks!

Just wondering why the price point between the 270 Amp SP and 250 Amp XP is so large. I don't understand why I would pay $120 more for the same output at idle and 20 amps LESS at max. I know the XP has some different internals, but is it really worth the extra change?

Is there any reason the 2009 Nissan Frontier 2.5L I4 QR25DE 250/270 amp alts wont work on a 2010 I4 QR25DE Frontier? Was just wondering cause you have it for the 09 but you only have the 4.0L Alt listed for the 2010 model.

  13. Alright everyone, we are deciding to give away a White iPad 2 16GB to one lucky customer that purchases something from us in the month of June thats $250 or more. It's plain and simple and there is NO catch. Simply place an order and we will do a drawing at the end of the month and someone will be getting an iPad 2 sent to their door. You can do this by placing an order over the internet OR by calling us. Everyone is automatically entered. Cheers!

DC Power, I have a 320 amp alternator, I haven't clamped it yet but I will very soon. Would you agree that if I fused the positive run connecting the alternator and battery with a 300 amp fuse that it would blow once the alternator is reaching high rpms? If it wouldn't blow then would you agree that the alternator is actually overrated?

im about to order an alt for my 2005 dodge dakota 3.7L (DC website only lists alts for the 4.7L V8) but they happen to take the same exact alternator anways. so im 100% sure i want to go with the XP series, but they have a 250 amp alt and a 270 amp alt, and i cant really see any other difference other then 20 amps, is it really worth the extra 80 bucks for 20 more amps? that is unless there is more of a difference between the two then i saw.

I keep hearing about 320s, 380s, and 390s. Even seen people have them installed. But I can't find any real info on them. Any possible way to get info on the 300+ amp Alternators y'all have? I have a 01 F-250 with 7.3, do you have any big ones to fit it?

Hey guys, I have a 2000 gmc Sierra with the 5.3, I was wondering if I get the dual alt get could I run a factory alt as the second one. Will the bolt holes line up correctly and would that Change the belt tension or anything like that? instead of one of yours for a couple months. I'm low on cash and have a spare oem alternator. And once I get more money saved up, get a 250xp or something of the sort. Thanks! looking forward to doing business with you!

  24. So I ordered my alternator back on February 24th, it was the 210 amp PRO alternator for my 1998 Honda civic. For the last two weeks, I've been on the phone speaking to Stan about what the status is with my alternator, and every time I was told that I would have a tracking number sent to my email in a few days and I would never get it. When I spoke to him last Friday, he THEN told me that the engineer was putting together my alternator only to find out that they had the wrong housings. Now I can understand having the wrong part or waiting for a missing part to come in, but why did it take 3 weeks for my alternator to finally be put together to only then find out that you …
