Is there any reason the 2009 Nissan Frontier 2.5L I4 QR25DE 250/270 amp alts wont work on a 2010 I4 QR25DE Frontier? Was just wondering cause you have it for the 09 but you only have the 4.0L Alt listed for the 2010 model.

Just wondering why the price point between the 270 Amp SP and 250 Amp XP is so large. I don't understand why I would pay $120 more for the same output at idle and 20 amps LESS at max. I know the XP has some different internals, but is it really worth the extra change?

Little bit confused about which series this is, but when you posted a picture on facebook said it was a 270XP series but receipt says 260 pro series?. DC Power, I have a 320 amp alternator, I haven't clamped it yet but I will very soon. Would you agree that if I fused the positive run connecting the alternator and battery with a 300 amp fuse that it would blow once the alternator is reaching high rpms? If it wouldn't blow then would you agree that the alternator is actually overrated?

I keep hearing about 320s, 380s, and 390s. Even seen people have them installed. But I can't find any real info on them. Any possible way to get info on the 300+ amp Alternators y'all have? I have a 01 F-250 with 7.3, do you have any big ones to fit it?

So... I just ordered four XP 270 alts and a bracket for my Tahoe. For batts I've got an S3400 for the front and four D3100s for the back. To start with I'm planning on running 10kw to the subs, maybe 1100w to components. So I need wiring advice. Do I: 1. Run the positives from all four alts to the S3400 positive post, then go from there to the D3100s (which will be connected with a bus bar)? This is the "single pool of power approach". Or: 2. Run the positive from one alt to the S3400, then run the positives from the other three alts to the D3100s. This approach completely isolates three of the alternators and the four D3100s, which will be used exclusively to power the s…

Hey guys, I have a 2000 gmc Sierra with the 5.3, I was wondering if I get the dual alt get could I run a factory alt as the second one. Will the bolt holes line up correctly and would that Change the belt tension or anything like that? instead of one of yours for a couple months. I'm low on cash and have a spare oem alternator. im about to order an alt for my 2005 dodge dakota 3.7L (DC website only lists alts for the 4.7L V8) but they happen to take the same exact alternator anways. so im 100% sure i want to go with the XP series, but they have a 250 amp alt and a 270 amp alt, and i cant really see any other difference other then 20 amps, is it really worth the extra 80 bucks for 20 more amps? that is unless there is more of a difference between the two then i saw.

any one know whats going on with them? i have tried emailing, calling and leaving a message and haven't gotten a response back. i ordered my alt over 2 months ago and was told it was going to ship over a month ago by robbie and still no alt. i have tried every way of contacting them trying to figure out a status but haven't got a response. at the beginning of this purchase i had great communication with them and now it seems theyve dropped off the map. and my first attempt of contacting them april 30th and i have tried contacting them through out the past 2 1/2 weeks as well. i think i have been more than patient. now i don't want to hear remember theres a time difference…

Hi I would like to get an estimate on how much would it cost to make a 300-320 amp alternator for my 2008 BMW 328i sedan.

I got these two items in the dual kit for the dodge 6.7 diesel but with no instructions so before i mess anything up i wanted to get some advice with it, first i got this little module that plugs into my stock harness it has a blue and black wire , then i have the harness that connects to the alts and has a relay. at the side that conects to the alts theres a blue and red wire and at the relay theres a red and white. Also just a shot in the dark but would you happen to have any pic of the kit installed. I got the writen instrustion but a pic of out its suppose to look might help me put this thing togerther faster. let me know Thanks,

Does dc make anything for 2009 nissan murano? or if not a regular item can it be a special order?

i might be getting a 2005 ford ranger 4.0 and i want to make sure i can get a high output alt for it before i do buy it, on DC's website it doesn't even have a listing for a 05 ranger but i figured i would ask you guys here if there are any options, preferably a DC alt, im looking for the highest amperage i can get, which going by there normal alts would be like 250-270 amps. thanks guys!

Robbie mentioned you guys got something worked up for the volvo (2002 v40 1.9L 4cyl Turbo 5A). I'm going to get the timing belt replaced on the car pretty soon, just wanted to see if there was any time frame when the cases would be done, maybe I can stretch it out and get the alt installed at the same time Oh and would the new case / alt use the internals from the 230xp (jeep wrangler 4.0 I6) I got now?

Checked the DC Power site but do not see an option for this vehicle and was wondering what may be my selection. 2002 Isuzu Rodeo 2WD 3.2 V6 Probly no room for a 2nd alt so I will probly need something with some hump. Hey everyone i am new to car audio and am planning on doing something big. Well first I was planning on getting a 250 amp alt with 2 yellow top batteries supplying power to 2 audio q 2200 amps connected to 2 12 fi btls . My question is that is there anything i need to be worried about? Because i was wondering if different parts of my car for example the dash lights or head light are being supplied with excess power? Is there some sort of regulater that controls the flow of current to the different appliances and delivers what is needed? THANKS! your help is highly appreciated
