i have to rev it up aftert startin to getr alt to kick into charge mode... i was talkin to one of the dc reps on facebook about this but they never got back to me... id like to figure this out asap so can some one please get back to me asap thanks!

Hi DC, a few weeks ago I ordered a 270XP alt through Robbie and then about a week and a half ago I called him back up and found out it had been ship the day prior. Hey, I recently sent in my alternator to be sold by DC... Seeing how they sell like crazy, anyways I sent my alt I believe two weeks ago before MECA, and Rob said he recidved it, he said it was basicly BNIB. I have not been able to get into contact with Rob Nor Kyle, this is a new experience with DC, typically their customer service is fantastic to say the least. im looking for a 270 amp alt and i sent a email to dc power i have a 2002-2.7L dodge intrepid i asked the guy he said they jeep wrangler ones will fit on my car he send me a link but the link took me to all the alts page and not the one i need so what year and motor is that one that will work with my car

ok so i got a dual alt bracket from dc power with my stock alternator on the stock location and my dc power alt on the bracket. stock alt charges my stock electrical and DC Power alt charges my sub amp (sounddigital 12k) i would like to use 16v batterys. that means my alt need to charge @ 18volts rigth ? what do i need to do to my alternator in order to do this?///voltage regulator? or is it even possible?... idk... please help btw my truck its a 05 f150 5.4l engine.

I was just wondering recently, why aren't DC Power altrrnators sold in our community store? The relationship between the 2 companies seems pretty strong. Also, I'm not cheap by any means, but with all the hype and support provided by SSA, why aren't there any sort of special deals for us? Like obviously I know that could be abused a bit. But what if this magical appearance of a discount came in the form of a admin/moderator requested code generated by DC Power themselves? Watching "Inside west coast customs" earlier and they installed a DC power alternator on the main build they were working on, it was a Baja Chase truck for "OX" of metal mulisha. Not sure if it was mentioned before, but i thought it was cool.

an alternator for this vehicle isn't listed on the site. Can it be done? Has it been done? Thinking of buying one but want to be able to put the system I want in it so the alternator is a must. Any info is appreciated. I can't seem to find anything anywhere of quality.

hello rob, im running 2 saz 4500's and 2 cresendo 1000.4 for mids and highs - i drive a 06 escalade, how big and how many ALT. should i run?

So car is sold and i am wanting a 99-2000 civic I still have my alternator that i got from Robbie bout a year ago, still in prestine condition. Would like to know what kinda thing i can do to either trade this one in for my honda one or recase this one or whatever my options are. I lost my number to robbie but would seriously like to take care of this.

Does anyone know why dc has changed there pricing? Im not complaining or anything just want to know why. I was gonna order the 270xp for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 and have been saving the money. Almost had enough which was 499.99 and go on there tonight and see that they now jumped the price up to 629.99. Sucks cause now its gonna be even longer before i get it just wanted to at least have a reason for the price jump.

Was hearing that its not a good idea to put a ho alt in a charger, because the voltage is regulated by the computer What is the word on this? Is it worth putting one in?

Hey guys, So here's pictures of stock harness and new one: stock new The blue wire goes to positive stud on alt, correct? I know where the black positive cable from stock wiring goes to positive stud on alt (from stock pic) But where/does the white wire, and the two red wires go to the old wiring? In the pic you see the red wire with ring terminal on left, but on the right theres another red wire about 3-4" long with no ring terminal, just dangling (is this one used?) Thanks

That's in alternator RPMs... our competition rates their alternators at 2400-2500 alternator RPMs at idle. So our 250XPs still do quite a bit at idle More to come very soon as i continue to program the machine.

Hello I have a 3.4l v6 Chevrolet Impala and I'm wondering if you carry and alternator for my car. I am going to be running a sundown saz-2500d and most likely 200 more watts for speakers. I would say roughly adding 2700 watts extra to my car. Now, if it happens that you do make an alternator for my car I'm wondering if you have a bracket so i can run it with my stock alternator. Hi im looking for all the possible options of alternators for a 1991 Corolla 1.6L 4AFE engine. Also wanted to know if you make custom alts. I need at least 130amps at idle and not less than 240amps at full output, can it be done? Thanks. And quotes please shipped to 00744.

So i finally put in my order for dual 270 xp's and the bracket. The two T4000's and the T1000.4 are dieing for the power. Luckily I'll be in town to pick it up , so I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
