Watching "Inside west coast customs" earlier and they installed a DC power alternator on the main build they were working on, it was a Baja Chase truck for "OX" of metal mulisha. Not sure if it was mentioned before, but i thought it was cool.

Figured I would start my own thread after reading through DC Powers forum. Can DC Power update me on my alt status for my 2006 Mazda 3 2.0L 220a alt? Original order was placed a month ago. I was told there was a 2 week delay then 2 weeks later I was informed that the parts were in and should be built and shipped that day or next business day, (great news). Follow up a week and a half later and i get a update that they need to follow up with the production manager again then no update for a week. Before anyone jumps on me by saying its only been a month , I really don’t care. I can understand you have a business but my whole thing is customer service. I would like to kn…

Whats the difference say between the 270xp and the 320hp model dc alternators? I saw people say the xp is better than the hp but what advantates does it have over the higher output 320HP?

im about to order an alt for my 2005 dodge dakota 3.7L (DC website only lists alts for the 4.7L V8) but they happen to take the same exact alternator anways. so im 100% sure i want to go with the XP series, but they have a 250 amp alt and a 270 amp alt, and i cant really see any other difference other then 20 amps, is it really worth the extra 80 bucks for 20 more amps? that is unless there is more of a difference between the two then i saw.

i have a 270xp already on its way.. however last week my alt went completely out so i had to buy a oem repleacment.. once back from my honeymoon ina cple weeks id like to switch to dual alts, whats needed besides the bracket and belt for me to run my 270xp and my oem 130amp alt..??

Hi Guys, I have been in contact with you guys before and was wondering... First of I am currently located in Singapore and owning a car here cost about 3x the price of over there in the US...suppose that is how they control traffic on the island. Many moons ago I asked you guys about an alt for a Lancer GLX. I was told there were too many mounting possibilities. I ended up taking my alt out and shipping it to ur frnds at ohio Gen who were the only guys willing to help at the time. DC Power, I have a 320 amp alternator, I haven't clamped it yet but I will very soon. Would you agree that if I fused the positive run connecting the alternator and battery with a 300 amp fuse that it would blow once the alternator is reaching high rpms? If it wouldn't blow then would you agree that the alternator is actually overrated?

It's finally here! long way trip from USA to Norway. Can't wait to get this installed! Sorry for bad quality, iphone 3gs camera is bad :< On question though. Little bit confused about which series this is, but when you posted a picture on facebook said it was a 270XP series but receipt says 260 pro series?. Ordered the 260A alternator, just bit confused thats all =) It's for the Mitsubishi Carisma 2002 btw Thanks DCpower for the alternator! and was fast shipping i might add.

So... I just ordered four XP 270 alts and a bracket for my Tahoe. For batts I've got an S3400 for the front and four D3100s for the back. To start with I'm planning on running 10kw to the subs, maybe 1100w to components. So I need wiring advice. Do I: 1. Run the positives from all four alts to the S3400 positive post, then go from there to the D3100s (which will be connected with a bus bar)? This is the "single pool of power approach". Or: 2. Run the positive from one alt to the S3400, then run the positives from the other three alts to the D3100s. This approach completely isolates three of the alternators and the four D3100s, which will be used exclusively to power the s…

i need some help wiring my DC POWER DUAL BRACKET/alternator on my 05 f150 5.4l. I know its pcm controlled. so i dont want to fry anything in my truck its there a diagram i can follow ? i already have it installed.. i have the relay conected to the battery, grounded and ignition, WHAT ESLE DO I NEED TO WIRE???... please help, if you need more info letme know. thanks btw the realy does not showon this pic , but its wired just like i said.

Hi! I just want to ask what can DC Power do for my Honda Civic it has a 1.4L engine (D14) UK version. the stock alt has a rating of 75A (Bosch).
